Squeaky

Persephone

Persephone is a bit shy around people. She needs a home where she can take her time getting settled in and learning to trust. She loves cats and gets along well with most of them. She is very food motivated and will come running to you if you’ve got treats.

Aries

We got Aries as a kitten with his brother Leo and now he’s fully grown. Aries is an independent cat who also can be mischievous. He is confident and passionate. When he loves a human, he gives all his heart., which is probably why his favorite color is red. Ask volunteer Bryn about that! He would love to be king of the household and be the only cat. His spirit animal is a cheetah and like the cheetah, he can be full of energy. He’s an avid member of the RSQ bird-watching club.  He is house-trained and would be good in a home with other cats or alone.

Stitzy

We bet this pretty girl caught your eye! Meet Stitzy, a 6-7 month-old active pup who is ready to find a place to call her own. She is spunky and full of life, which means that she needs someone who can keep her busy. This girl will need continued training and socialization so she can be one of the best canines out there. She is very smart but has not had someone to teach her many basic commands or manners yet. She will need someone home with her most of the day because she will need to go out and go to the bathroom every 2-3 hours. A full-time out-of-home worker would not be around enough to take care of me properly (and she would be lonely!). If you are home most of the day and have the time and patience, and you want a really cute puppy, she can’t wait to meet you! Her adoption fee is $60.

Toby

Hi, I’m Toby. I was found abandoned. Sometimes I tend to get jealous when someone else is getting attention so a home where I could be the focus would allow me to flourish. I was a little reserved and to be honest, scared the first week I was here. Now that I know it’s safe here I have become much more social. Let me reassure you, I would be very happy to meet you and come to live with you. I am going to need lots of exercise and I am a little high energy when I first get outside but then I calm down and really soak up the lovin’ & attention that I am given. Ya know, a guy can’t pass up attention. I sure am ready for my life to look up again and I can’t wait to find a family that I can rely on and love forever. My adoption fee is $60.

Millie

Millie was found abandoned with her mother Tillie. She is six months old and she can be a little shy until she knows you. Tilly loves people and playing with toys. She is learning to walk on a leash and knows “sit”. Her adoption fee is $60.

Tillie

Tillie was found abandoned in a yard wearing a collar and dragging a leash. She came with her daughter Millie. She is shy but warms up quickly, and loves to be with people. She is doing well with basic manners and leash walking. She is a beautiful dog. Her adoption fee is $60.

Samantha

13 months old Samantha is an independent cat that is looking for a home without a dog or cat as she has a very strong personality. This independent gal knows what she wants – a loving home where she can be the queen of the castle. Samantha enjoys getting attention but prefers when it’s on her terms. She will do best in a quiet home where she can be the star of the show. She will rub up on you affectionately. She will greet you at the door and tell you about her day and ask you about yours. She likes hanging out with you while you are doing your chores and she wants to know what you are doing. This fine lady needs someone with some patience, who will work with her and make her comfortable with her surroundings. Her adoption fee is $40.

Pye

Pye is a calm and quiet lady that asks for very little in life. Pye is very easygoing and will never pass up a nice chin rub or scratch behind the ears. Once you start giving this pretty girl attention, she will rub and head butt you asking for more. She would love to share her new home with respectful people of all ages. If you are looking for the purr-fect gentleman Pye may be just the one for you.  She prefers to be an only pet and would prefer a quiet home where she will be allowed to adjust at her own pace. She is sweet, comes when called, likes to be carried like a baby, and is sure to be a wonderful friend.

Paintbrush

Paintbrush is a stunning boy with the cutest splotchy nose and an infectious smile. We guess his age at a year or less. He’s quite social and enjoys a good game of catch.

Paintbrush is available LOCALLY ONLY as a foster to adopt. Once he has been neutered, the adoption can be completed and this beautiful boy will be all yours!

Bruiser

Meet Bruiser! Born approximately April 15th, rose-nosed Bruiser is ready to become somebody’s very best friend and can’t wait to start life with his new family. He is well-socialized and loves playing with the other dogs. He’s not just a playboy though…he’ll gladly stop romping for a quick cuddle in your lap.

Bruiser has been neutered and is housebroken, microchipped, and current on his vaccinations.

Greta

Greta was born approximately July 1. She’s good with other dogs, kids and cats too! She’s loving, sweet, and playful and wants all the attention for herself.

Greta is available LOCALLY ONLY as a foster to adopt. Once she has been spayed, the adoption can be completed and this cutie patootie will be all yours!

Quincy

Although she isn’t doing the full husky howl yet, baby Quincy is already very talkative and she has plenty of important things to say.

Born May 31st, she’s almost … but not quite … house trained. She loves water and would be so happy with an adopter who doesn’t mind snuggling a wet girl! She has fun with dogs of all sizes and even gets along with cats!

Quincy’s going to make a great family dog but her puppy teeth are razor sharp and she likes to bite so she should be fully supervised around kids. She needs lots of chew toys until those big-girl teeth come in.

Ozzie

Ozzie is a sweet, playful girl who is ready for any adventure. At 3-1/2 years old, she has a lot of energy and loves to play. This girl can occupy herself alone outside but also loves to romp with kids and other dogs. She will always be happy to stop to give you kisses and follow you around admirably.

Ozzie does have a strong prey drive, however, so cats and chickens are not going to be safe with her. She’s an amazing dog that someone gave up on too soon. She is ready for a parent or family to give their love and time to her.

Diamond

Eight-year-old Diamond is a gentle girl who would give anything to be in an easy-going home with someone special who will take her on leisurely walks and activities and smother her with hugs! She adores sitting in the shady grass and just being loved on.

The poor girl was rescued from a kill shelter in California and, even though she’s safe now, she’s not a fan of being kenneled and would much prefer sitting on a couch with her humans all day watching soap operas.

Diamond enjoys the company of other dogs and will gently remind those that are too playful to be respectful of her age. She’s not a grumpy old lady though–if you ever want a laugh, just get a toy out and watch her play. She steals everyone’s hearts. She has lots of love in her and just needs someone to share it with.

Roxy

Roxy needs a playmate!  This girl is so affectionate, full of life, and smart, smart, smart!!! She wants nothing more than get outside and play ball, tug, you name it–she just wants to play!

Unfortunately, life changes didn’t allow pretty Roxy to stay with her family and she has to be re-homed. She’s a wonderful girl (did we mention that she’s smart?) who needs someone with an active lifestyle and time to help develop her mind. She would probably be a great agility dog, frisbee fetcher, and/or running/hiking partner. And once she’s worn you out, she’ll snuggle up to you on the couch for cuddles and cookies. (Exercise and cookies- you can’t lose!) And can you imagine gazing into those gorgeous eyes every day?
