Groot

Groot is a happy young dog who would love to join you on your adventures and then cuddle on the couch when you get home. He enjoys exploring the Dogtown trails, playing fetch, clicker training, swimming, and of course zoomies. Groot would do best in an adult-only home where he can soak up all the love and attention from his people. If you are interested in adding this big, goofy boy to your family please reach out to an adoption specialist today.

Josh

Josh is a big goofy boy with lots of energy and lots of love to give. Josh loves attention and soft toys. He can forget how strong he is at times and be a little too enthusiastic when greeting, but he’s attentive to his people and has been enjoying working on his manners. He loves being active especially playing in water and hiking so he’d be a good partner for someone looking for an adventure buddy. Josh likes to be the center of attention so would prefer to live in a house with no other pets so he can receive all the love!

Aqua

Aqua is shy initially, but she warms up with patience and kindness. She’s not readily walking on a leash yet, but she lets people pick her up. Her favorite thing to do is snuggle in soft bedding with another little dog. She also likes gentle chin scratches from people and rides in the car calmly. If you’d like to meet Aqua, please fill out an adoption application today.

Mesa

Mesa is definitely still shy. She is a bit of a challenge to pick up at the moment, but if you approach her with patience, she will accept pets. She needs a very kind, loving, patient person to give her the chance she needs to come around and accept love when she is ready for it.

Duchess

Duchess is an elegant, beautiful lady who is looking for a calm home to settle into. She loves to be brushed and will often roll onto her back to show you she loves you. She would prefer to live in a home where she is the only cat but would tolerate another calm, easy-going feline friend. Come meet this radiant lady and find out if she is the one for you!

Rukavica

Are you looking to up your daily dose of laughter, cuddles, and “Aww” moments? Overrun with too many ping pong balls and no one to play with them? Rukavica is here to help! She is looking for a family to play with, purr at, snuggle with, and take up all their phone storage with pictures of her adorable face.
Rukavica is ready to light up your home and enliven your life. She cannot wait to meet you!

Arthur

I am a big lovable 2-year-old ball of fur. I enjoy lap cuddles and snoozing in the sun. I am house-trained and would be good in a home with other cats or alone. I’m just looking for my purrfect, furever home, is it yours?

Angus

Meowmoo! My name is Angus, and I am 3-5 years young. I’m a pretty laid-back guy and I enjoy head rubs. I’m looking forward to having a warm, loving home. I hope you like conversation cuz I can be talkative at times. I am house-trained and would be good in a home with other cats or alone.

Doug

Hello friends. My name is Doug aka Dougie and I’m hoping to find a loving family and home. I haven’t always known the comfort of a home and I think the world is a pretty scary place at times. I need someone special like you to show me plenty of patience and kindness to help me overcome my fears and gain confidence. I love a quiet out of the way place to sleep but do enjoy the comfort of a lap from time to time. If you think you can show me the devotion I deserve, then won’t you please be my hero and ask about adopting me today?

He loves attention and petting. He knows how to “sit”, and shake and does well on a leash. He loves to play with balls. Hulk is a calm dog, is always longing for attention, and would be a great companion!

Junior

Junior is a very smart and loving dog, he loves being the center of attention. He is very shy but enjoys spending time with everyone. He does tend to get jealous when someone else is getting attention so a home where he could be the focus would allow him to flourish. He is approximately 2 years old.

Reuben

My name is Reuben and all I want to do is find a place to call my own. If you have been searching for an outgoing, furry companion that you want to spoil then look no further. I adore meeting new people and like to go to new places. I can’t wait to see what the world has to offer me and if you want to join me in all my adventures then I would be an even happier canine than ever before.

June Bug and Pups

Sweet June Bug has already weened her seven babies and we are looking for someone to foster any or all of them until they are ready to post for adoption.

June Bug is gentle and smart. She loves to play ball. She currently has a neck wound and needs to be monitored to make sure she doesn’t bother it until it’s healed.

Babies are approximately five weeks old and they are fluffy little social bundles of energy.

If you are interested in fostering, please contact Wendy at 435-773-5209.

Dash

Some Native American cultures believe having heterochromia (one blue eye and one brown) means one can see heaven and earth at the same time. They refer to this as having Ghost Eyes and beautiful Dash definitely has them. And if his eyes don’t melt your heart, his cute little nose will! Not only is he stunning, but he’s also a total love bug who will melt right into your arms.

Dash was dumped at Parowan Gap and lived on his own for at least two weeks. One of the local families put food out for him until he became brave enough to be coaxed inside where he immediately found the couch. He was good with their kids and dogs.

Dash is young (we’re guessing six months to a year) and has a lot of energy. He likes to play with other dogs but can be enthusiastic so he’ll do best with some training. He’s afraid of loud noises and sudden movements and terrified of water from a hose. Who knows what this sweet boy went through before he was left to fend for himself? He deserves so much better.

Bing and Chunk

Brothers Bing and Chunk were surrendered together and have rarely been apart since they were born 2 years ago and, although we would love for them to be adopted together, we think they’ll be fine separately.

Bing, named for his beautiful Bing Crosby eyes, is energetic, playful, and loves to chew (antlers and durable toys preferred). He also enjoys cuddling and giving kisses. Bing has some fear of riding in cars and freezes up and doesn’t want to get in. However, after just a few trips to the dog park with our fabulous volunteers, he’s already becoming more relaxed and has a great time once he gets there. Trips to other fun places should help him continue with his progress.

Chunk is a big softie who, as his name suggests, loves his food and very much looks forward to mealtime but he does fine eating with other dogs and has never shown any food aggression. He loves his snacks!

Both pups are good with other dogs, cats, and kids and will make a great addition to an active family. As puppies, Bing and Chunk may do better with older children who will make sure not to leave toys laying around. (Did we mention both do love to chew and will need supervision since they will swallow toys if allowed.) Both Bing and Chunk would benefit from some training as they can jump and be mouthy when excited and haven’t had much experience walking on a leash. They need a loving family with room to play and time to help socialize them.

Daisy

Born around the first of September, squatty-bodied Daisy likes to rough and tumble with the other dogs at the adoption center and then settle down for a well-deserved cuddle. Flip her over in your arms and she’ll melt for a tummy rub.

Daisy is almost housebroken. She’s good with kids, other dogs and cats! She has been spayed, is up to date on her vaccinations and is available for adoption.

Flynn

Flynn is a picky eater and guards his food. For some reason, he is afraid of delivery trucks and some men. Unfortunately, this breed sheds more than most so his new adopter will need to be prepared.

A quick Google search on this breed shows they are affectionate, inquisitive, loving, alert, lively, active, intelligent, fearless, and playful dogs who tend to have separation anxiety when their owners leave them alone at home because they bond very closely with them.

Quincy

Although she isn’t doing the full husky howl yet, baby Quincy is already very talkative and she has plenty of important things to say.

Born May 31st, she’s almost … but not quite … house trained. She loves water and would be so happy with an adopter who doesn’t mind snuggling a wet girl! She has fun with dogs of all sizes and even gets along with cats!

Quincy’s going to make a great family dog but her puppy teeth are razor sharp and she likes to bite so she should be fully supervised around kids. She needs lots of chew toys until those big-girl teeth come in.
