Pink Lemonade

Pink Lemonade is as sweet as her namesake! She came to us with a group of dogs rescued from an overcrowding situation so she can be a little shy initially. She will benefit from a loving, patient person who gives her confidence in new environments and shows her how wonderful the world can be!

Once she is comfortable and knows she is safe, she is wiggly, playful, affectionate, and joyful and we love to see her smile!

If you’d like to learn more about this sweet little lady fill out an adoption survey today!

Garnet

Garnet is a smart and inquisitive puppy. He loves puzzles, lying in the sunshine, and playing with tug toys, balls, and chewing bones. He learns quickly and looks at you with eyes that seem to speak volumes.
He also makes a plethora of cute grunts and exasperated sighs. Garnet is ready to go home and start his life with you as his co-pilot.
If you’re interested in adding Garnet to your family, please fill out an application today!

Tyler

Tyler is a very shy and timid boy who is looking for a safe place to land. He does well with other dogs, although will be pretty nervous if people are around and won’t do much interacting.

He has already picked up his daily routine here in Dogtown and would love a home that will continue following a routine so he knows what to expect and can build confidence. We have been getting him used to walking on leash and riding in the car and while he still needs a lot of practice he has come such a long way, especially if he goes with one of his dog friends as moral support.

If you think you’re home would be a good fit for Tyler, please submit an application today!

Jinx

Meet Jinx. He came to us as a stray from one of the rural communities RSQ serves. He is delightful! Playful, great with other dogs, equal parts cuddly and active.

He’s very friendly, likes to learn new things, and would love an active family. Jinx would love to find his furever, loving home. Could it be yours?

Daisy

Daisy will need a home where she can be the only dog (no cats either) and one without small children. Once she gains your trust, Daisy is a very affectionate and loving dog. She rides great in the car and is house-trained. Going on a hike or walk is her favorite activity.

Her adoption will come with a high-valued, paid-for training program that will help her learn to build relationships and set her up for success in her new home. The adoption is conditioned on her new owner agreeing to be part of this training process. She is a very smart dog and full of fun but will need an experienced and committed handler to provide a loving forever home for her. Inquire at RSQ for more information on this great girl!

Tavi

Tavi is a gorgeous Treeing Walker Coonhound. Known to be a vocal breed, sweet Tavi definitely has plenty to say! Tavi is a happy hiker when he gets to know his people. “Trust” is something coveted by Tavi, but once you have his, he is perfection!

This poor guy was living outside until new caretakers contacted us to give him a new lease on life. He is learning the joys of living inside and having people to love. He will need patience but will reward you with plenty of return affection. Come meet Tavi today!

Kiwi

Meet sweet and loving Kiwi. This gorgeous Russian Blue is ready for a lifetime of warm beds and a full belly!  She is affectionate, quiet, friendly, and is house-trained.

Kiwi deserves a furever, loving home. Is it yours?

Ghost

Meet Ghost! Don’t let his name spook you! He’s as sweet as can be. He is very playful and can’t wait to show you how bootiful he is! He is friendly, curious, independent, funny and he’s house-trained.

Some like it hot, but Ghost prefers the temperature-controlled environment inside a home filled with toys, love, and food. Apply to meet this growing boy today!

Toast

Well burn my bread and call me “Toast”! Am I not the cutest thing you ever did see? My foster mama can’t tell if I am a kitten or an orangutan with all my crazy playing!

I am friendly, affectionate, playful, curious, independent, funny and house-trained. I love the yin to my yang, Ghost, and am so happy to be sharing a foster home with him.

Maybe I can share my forever home with him too?!?

They can be adopted together or separately.

Peter (Peterbuilt)

Animal was seen being left by the side of the road from an 18-wheeler. He is about a year old and what a wonderful dog.

He knows basic commands, loves being with people and just chilling out in his kennel. He will be a big dog.

Leabelle

Leabelle came to the shelter with 3 other cats who had been left in an apartment for about 2 months with only someone coming to feed them. She is shy and will need a calm quiet home.

She loves to be petted and brushed but is afraid of loud noises and quick movements. She is approximately 4 years old.

She has been at the shelter for over 3 months.

Amy

Amy was found as a stray trying to get into someone’s home. She is fascinated with the TV in the room and will sit and watch the activity on the screen, she also likes playing with the long tunnel toy.

She will come when called and loves attention, giving head butts, and she purrs constantly. She loves looking out the windows.

She will do best as an only cat where she can get all your love and attention. She has been at the shelter 6 months.

Ari and Podge

Have you ever seen such happy faces? Ari & Podge are a bonded pair so need to be adopted together. They love each other so much and enjoy curling up together. Ari is a 5-year-old male Lab and Podge is a 7-year-old Aussie Mix.

They are playful and would be great on hikes. Ari is obsessed with balls and loves to play fetch. Podge is a little shy but warms up quickly. These two would keep each other company while you’re away shopping or at work.

Adopting a bonded pair is a great option because you have less separation anxiety. Come meet them at the PAWS Dog Room and see if they would be a good fit for your home/family!

Charlie

Meet Charlie! He is an 8-month-old Heeler/Shepherd mix who loves to play, give kisses, and cuddle! He’s learning commands and is very smart.

He knows how to use a doggy door and loves everyone. He’s great on hikes and walks. Please come meet him at the PAWS Adoption Center!

See his video on PAWS’ Facebook page. He’s ready for his new family to adopt him!

Dustie

Dustie is a gorgeous 3-year-old female. She is an absolute sweetheart but is a bit timid and scared of new environments.  She needs a quiet and calm family who will give her time to get to know them.

She will do great with other cats that love to cuddle. Once you get to know Dustie, you will see just how sweet she is. If you adopt her portrait (done by local artist, Sue Kroll), you get the cat!

Heather

Heather is a 1 1/2- year-old gray Tabby with gorgeous fur. She is beautiful and so sweet. She is litterbox trained, microchipped and spayed.

Heather has a very calm personality. She is also playful and funny. She is ready to go home with someone special. She will give you lots of love and companionship.

Come to the PAWS Cat Room and meet her soon! She’s waiting to meet you.

Michael

At first glance, you might think Michael is a tough Tom with a cool and aloof personality, but honestly, that couldn’t be farther from the truth. When Michael first came to PAWS, he was sensitive and shy. Now he’s still sensitive and shy, AND the sweetest, mushiest little cuddle bug!

He is often one of the first to greet people when they enter the room. Find Michael in one of the cats’ many snuggle beds and he will roll over, purr, and beg you for pets and love. He adores humans, and he gets along very well with other cats as long as they are gentle and calm with him.

Michael is the best example of why you can never judge a book by its cover. Come down to PAWS to meet him today, but be careful, you might never want to let him go!

Jet

Jet is a young, handsome Lab who is looking for his fur-ever home. At just about 10 months old, this boy is still a pup!

Jet knows several commands such as “shake” and “sit.” He is housetrained, neutered, and has all of his shots. To help him be the very best dog he can be, Jet would benefit from a bit more training.

Jet has a wonderful demeanor and would be a sweet furry family member!

Buff

Buff is a sweet boy who loves to play and be loved! This orange and white cutie is just 3 months old. He’s a little guy but he’s got a whole lotta love to give to the lucky people who adopt him!

Buff would love to have a kitty companion in his new home. Why not consider adopting his buddy, Goldy, as well? Kittens do best in pairs! Double the cuteness, double the shenanigans, double the love!

Goldy

Goldy is a very handsome orange tabby kitten. This little boy is 3 months old. He is extra cuddly! Just look at his soft, fuzzy cheeks! Goldy also loves to run around and play!

Goldy would love to have another kitty friend in his new home. Kittens do best in pairs so why not adopt Goldy and his buddy, Buff, together? Twice the cuddles, twice the purrs, and love, twice the silly kitten antics!

Jackson

Jackson is a sweet and extra special tuxedo kitty. He is considered special needs as he has wobbly kitten syndrome, so he can be unstable on his feet and has a little head shake. It does not slow him down one bit! Despite his lack of coordination, Jackson can live a full and happy life just like any other kitty!

He loves to wrestle with his brother, Parrot. Jackson is almost 3 months old and is absolutely adorable.

Parrot

Parrot is a beautiful tabby kitten who is almost 3 months old. He’s all kitten! Parrot loves to play and run around. He’s also extremely cuddly!

Parrot would love to have a buddy in his new home. He’s the brother of Jackson, our sweet tuxedo kitten, so why not adopt both of them together?! Twice the cuteness, twice the shenanigans, twice the love!

Zoey

They don’t make ‘em much cuter than pretty little Zoey!

Zoey is a reserved, gentle, and sweet kitten with adorable white toes! She loves being with you and sleeping on your lap. She is such a cute little cuddle bug!

Bonnie

Bonnie is a shy girl, not quite three years old, and, at 35 lbs, is the perfect mid-sized pup. She likes going for walks and would make a wonderful walking or hiking partner. She loves car rides and being near her person. She’s very food-motivated and a quick learner.

We think Bonnie was abused when she was younger making her afraid of many things. She’s doing so well now that she feels it’s time to find a family of her own where she can continue to gain confidence and learn to blossom into the dog she was born to be. She may not act like it at first but she loves to be spoiled and loved on.

Bonnie would love another dog to play with but would do best without small children as sudden movements and loud noises still frighten her. She requires a secure fenced yard and someone with the patience to help her overcome her fear. This person will be greatly rewarded with love and affection. Bonnie is housebroken and crate trained, is spayed, microchipped, and current on her vaccinations.

Misty

Who would believe this butterball loves to run and then cool off in a cold stream?

Wide as she is tall, chunky monkey Misty is a lot of loving lap dog! She’s also a super sweet girl who gets along with other dogs and probably kids although we haven’t seen her around any yet.

Misty is 8 years old, spayed, microchipped, and current on her vaccinations. She needs an adopter willing to monitor her food and exercise to get her down to a healthier weight.

Blaze

Blaze is about 2-1/2 years old and is the definition of sweetness. His gentle demeanor and affectionate nature make him an ideal companion for families and individuals alike. He’s a cuddle enthusiast who craves your attention and affection. With a flair for obedience, he knows how to sit and lay down, showcasing his eagerness to learn and please his human companions. While Blaze may be strong on the leash, with a little training he’ll be your ideal walking/hiking buddy. He loves to run too!

One of his quirks is his love for standing on top of items (like his igloo when he was at the shelter!). Blaze loves a little adventure and is known to be a bit of an escape artist–he can clear a 6-foot fence so, for his safety, he needs a securely fenced yard. He’s neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, house-trained, and ready to find his new family!

Patches

A family tragedy brought Patches to us and he deserves to be with a loving family just like the one he had before. He fit in immediately with the other BAM dogs so he should adjust quickly to a family with older kids and/or other dogs. It wasn’t easy for his family to say goodbye–we could tell that they love him very much and just want him to have a happy life.

Patches is only about 11 months old and still has a lot of puppy energy. He loves kids but can be toy possessive so we recommend close supervision with toddlers. He’s neutered, vaccinated, house-trained, and ready to join your family.

Roni

Beautiful Roni was adopted and returned because she was doing exactly what she was bred to do: herd. Unfortunately, she was starting to herd her family’s kids. Australian Shepherds have a need to protect and move what they are protecting from one place to another and they do this by nipping.

Roni is a sweet girl who loves cuddles and being with her humans. She plays well with other dogs and loves kids but she will nip so, if you’re interested in adopting an Aussie, read up on the breed before falling in love with her. It would break her heart to lose another family.

Roni knows basic commands like sit, stay, and come. She is super smart and trainable but needs an adopter willing to spend the time to train her. She is around three years old, spayed, microchipped, housebroken, and up to date on her vaccinations.

Tater

Tater is about 1-1/2. He has already been neutered, and microchipped, and is current on his vaccinations. He’s a wonderful boy who just wants love and security and will give it back to you in spades if given ½ a chance.

Tater needs some stability in his life. He’s been passed around from one home to another but no one has ever been a family to him. He’s a fun boy who likes to talk and play. He’s good with other dogs and adores his people. If you need someone to protect your family while being a total couch potato, he’s your boy.
