Cairo

Cairo is a bundle of fun. She loves playing and snuggling with people and does a very cute head tilt when she hears certain noises.

She has genetic cataracts that the vet has checked out, but they do not seem to impair her vision and we suspect the condition to be stable long-term.

She is ready to meet you and become part of your forever home!

Igloo

Rictus

Rictus is a shy, sweet boy who is learning all about the world around him. He is unsure of strangers but starting to warm up. Rictus enjoys taking tasty treats while he socializes with people and enjoys the company of his dog friend.

Slowly but surely, he is coming out of his shell. Rictus will need a patient home to go to so he can learn all the new things in life at his own pace. If you are interested in learning more, please fill out an application today!

Cinnabar

Meet Cinnabar, the adorable tabby kitten ready to bring joy into your life! Cinnabar is a playful adventurer who loves chasing toys, wrestling with siblings, and stealing your heart.

This little charmer seamlessly transitions from energetic play to snuggle mode, finding the coziest spot in your lap for a nap. Cinnabar is a social butterfly, enjoying the company of people and furry friends alike.

This little tabby may seem a bit cautious around dogs at first, but with a patient and caring environment, he’s sure to warm up and become the best of pals over time. If you’re looking for a furry companion who’s the perfect blend of playful and cuddly, Cinnabar is your guy! Come meet him and get ready for a lifetime of love and laughter!

Wintergreen

Wintergreen and her two sisters came to Best Friends as a litter of independent, shy kittens. After some time in a foster home, they had plenty of space and time to play, unwind, and become comfortable around people.

Wintergreen LOVES baby food and readily eats it off of the fingers of her foster! She is known for her absolutely graceful mastery of the slow blink and her clumsy enthusiasm when playing with wand toys.

Lime

With a coat as soft as a cloud and eyes that sparkle with curiosity, Lime is the epitome of feline charm. This playful ball of energy is always on the lookout for fun, whether it’s chasing after feather toys or pouncing on imaginary foes.

Lime’s sweet demeanor and affectionate nature make her the perfect companion for anyone seeking a furry friend to brighten their days. With a heart full of love and a playful spirit, Lime is eagerly awaiting the opportunity to fill her new home with laughter and warmth.

Adopt this enchanting little kitty, and let the adventures begin!

Bowie

Meet our awesome friend, Bowie! This Tripod had his hind leg removed due to injury. He is all healed up and loving his new lease on life! He is friendly and eager to please.

This smart boy can’t wait to have his forever family to bond with. He is affectionate, loyal, gentle, playful and smart.

Bowie is house-trained and would be good in a home with other dogs, cats, children, or alone.

Billy

Meet Billy. Yup, that’s right – he’s missing most of his front leg and doesn’t know or care!

Billy is a tripawd. It doesn’t affect how fast or far he can run. He will run full speed up a mountainside! He had a genetic test done. He is about half border collie, a quarter husky, and a quarter Belgian Malinois. He is super active and really needs a backyard he can run around in. He is a little over a year old, so he still likes to chew. He could benefit from some training. He knows sit and stay and is very smart!

Tripawds have no idea they’re different and just run and play normally! Plus, there’s something special about their spirit. Billy is a great example and is going to bring loads of joy to a forever family!

Bolt

“Can Anybody Find Me Somebody to Love”? Bolt is the definition of a big bundle of love. He loves kids and longs for a family with room for him in their hearts, a backyard, perhaps a doggy door, and a comfy bed.

He puts himself to bed at 9 pm every night and is happy to stay there until you call him for breakfast! Bolt has been going to doggy daycare and gets along with other dogs with proper introduction. Come see if you can make Bolt the happiest dog on earth and provide him with a safe and loving home.

Morticia

Introducing Morticia, the wise matriarch of her feline family, including Pugsley and Wednesday. In Cat World, she reigns as the queen of zen, radiating tranquility and grace.

Morticia takes her time to get to know people, but once you earn her trust, you’ll discover a sweet and affectionate soul beneath her spooky countenance. Don’t let her face fool you; it’s just her unique charm!

As an avid member of the bird-watching club, Morticia finds joy in observing the world around her. When it’s time for relaxation, you can often find her napping in a sunny spot, basking in the warmth and comfort.

With optimism in her heart, Morticia is hopeful to find a wonderful and loving forever home. If you’re seeking a wise and loving companion to share your life, Morticia is the one for you.

Wednesday

Introducing Wednesday, the adorable and independent young cat with a laid-back attitude that’s sure to win your heart! This charming feline enjoys the simple pleasures of life, like head scratches and basking in the warm sun on the catio.

As a member of the RSQ bird-watching club, Wednesday finds joy in observing wildlife during her tranquil mornings. Her serene and calm demeanor adds a touch of elegance to her delightful personality.

Wednesday’s family includes her mother, Morticia, and brother, Pugsley, who are also available for adoption. The bond they share is heartwarming, but Wednesday is ready to spread her wings and find a forever home to call her own. If you’re seeking an independent and laid-back companion to share your life with, Wednesday is the purrfect choice.

Pugsley

Meet Pugsley, the endearing, affectionate, and a tad mischievous feline who has been patiently waiting for his purrfect forever family. Originally coming in with his mama, Morticia, and sister, Wednesday, Pugsley brings a heartwarming sense of family with him.

This sweet and charming cat may have a few extra pounds to cuddle with, but his love for eating and lounging is a part of his adorable personality. With a bit of a chunky frame, Pugsley dreams of finding a warm lap to curl up on and finally call home. He craves affection and is ever so needy for love, making him a delightful companion for someone seeking unconditional love and cuddles. Pugsley’s independent nature adds a touch of uniqueness to his character, making him all the more endearing.

But beware, this lovable chunk is a bit mischievous too! When caught in the act, he’ll put on his best innocent face and beg for forgiveness, making it impossible to stay mad at him for long. If you’re ready to welcome a loving, affectionate, and occasionally mischievous companion into your life, Pugsley is the one for you.

Jet

Jet is a young, handsome Lab who is looking for his fur-ever home. At just about 10 months old, this boy is still a pup!

Jet knows several commands such as “shake” and “sit.” He is housetrained, neutered, and has all of his shots. To help him be the very best dog he can be, Jet would benefit from a bit more training.

Jet has a wonderful demeanor and would be a sweet furry family member!

S’mores and Marshmello

S’mores and Marshmello are bonded brothers who are looking for their fur-ever home together. They are 6 months old with soft, silky medium-length fur.

These beautiful young gents are quiet, gentle, and oh-so-cuddly. They love to follow their humans around. When they aren’t busy su-purr-vising, you’ll find S’mores and Marshmello snuggled up together.

These very special kitties would love to be cherished family members in a home that is a little more on the quiet side.

Buff

Buff is a sweet boy who loves to play and be loved! This orange and white cutie is just 3 months old. He’s a little guy but he’s got a whole lotta love to give to the lucky people who adopt him!

Buff would love to have a kitty companion in his new home. Why not consider adopting his buddy, Goldy, as well? Kittens do best in pairs! Double the cuteness, double the shenanigans, double the love!

Gracie

At almost 7 months old, Gracie is a sweet and playful, all-around purr-fect kitty!

When she’s not busy engaging in silly kitten antics, Gracie loves to be held & petted and will purr her contentment. This lovely little girl just wants to be a part of a family who will love her and care for her always.

Oliver

Adorable Oliver is 5 months old and he is ready to find his fur-ever home!

This terrific tuxedo kitten is as cute as they come. His soft, black, and white fur is silky to the touch. He loves to snuggle when napping. And that ear floof is just too cute!

When he’s awake, you’ll find Oliver playing and romping around! He’s full of silly antics and no doubt would love to have another kitten to play with, grow up together, and be bffs!

Zoey

They don’t make ‘em much cuter than pretty little Zoey!

Zoey is a reserved, gentle, and sweet kitten with adorable white toes! She loves being with you and sleeping on your lap. She is such a cute little cuddle bug!

Bonnie

Bonnie is a shy girl, not quite three years old, and, at 35 lbs, is the perfect mid-sized pup. She likes going for walks and would make a wonderful walking or hiking partner. She loves car rides and being near her person. She’s very food-motivated and a quick learner.

We think Bonnie was abused when she was younger making her afraid of many things. She’s doing so well now that she feels it’s time to find a family of her own where she can continue to gain confidence and learn to blossom into the dog she was born to be. She may not act like it at first but she loves to be spoiled and loved on.

Bonnie would love another dog to play with but would do best without small children as sudden movements and loud noises still frighten her. She requires a secure fenced yard and someone with the patience to help her overcome her fear. This person will be greatly rewarded with love and affection. Bonnie is housebroken and crate trained, is spayed, microchipped, and current on her vaccinations.

Misty

Who would believe this butterball loves to run and then cool off in a cold stream?

Wide as she is tall, chunky monkey Misty is a lot of loving lap dog! She’s also a super sweet girl who gets along with other dogs and probably kids although we haven’t seen her around any yet.

Misty is 8 years old, spayed, microchipped, and current on her vaccinations. She needs an adopter willing to monitor her food and exercise to get her down to a healthier weight.

Blaze

Blaze is about 2-1/2 years old and is the definition of sweetness. His gentle demeanor and affectionate nature make him an ideal companion for families and individuals alike. He’s a cuddle enthusiast who craves your attention and affection. With a flair for obedience, he knows how to sit and lay down, showcasing his eagerness to learn and please his human companions. While Blaze may be strong on the leash, with a little training he’ll be your ideal walking/hiking buddy. He loves to run too!

One of his quirks is his love for standing on top of items (like his igloo when he was at the shelter!). Blaze loves a little adventure and is known to be a bit of an escape artist–he can clear a 6-foot fence so, for his safety, he needs a securely fenced yard. He’s neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, house-trained, and ready to find his new family!

Patches

A family tragedy brought Patches to us and he deserves to be with a loving family just like the one he had before. He fit in immediately with the other BAM dogs so he should adjust quickly to a family with older kids and/or other dogs. It wasn’t easy for his family to say goodbye–we could tell that they love him very much and just want him to have a happy life.

Patches is only about 11 months old and still has a lot of puppy energy. He loves kids but can be toy possessive so we recommend close supervision with toddlers. He’s neutered, vaccinated, house-trained, and ready to join your family.

Roni

Beautiful Roni was adopted and returned because she was doing exactly what she was bred to do: herd. Unfortunately, she was starting to herd her family’s kids. Australian Shepherds have a need to protect and move what they are protecting from one place to another and they do this by nipping.

Roni is a sweet girl who loves cuddles and being with her humans. She plays well with other dogs and loves kids but she will nip so, if you’re interested in adopting an Aussie, read up on the breed before falling in love with her. It would break her heart to lose another family.

Roni knows basic commands like sit, stay, and come. She is super smart and trainable but needs an adopter willing to spend the time to train her. She is around three years old, spayed, microchipped, housebroken, and up to date on her vaccinations.

Tater

Tater is about 1-1/2. He has already been neutered, and microchipped, and is current on his vaccinations. He’s a wonderful boy who just wants love and security and will give it back to you in spades if given ½ a chance.

Tater needs some stability in his life. He’s been passed around from one home to another but no one has ever been a family to him. He’s a fun boy who likes to talk and play. He’s good with other dogs and adores his people. If you need someone to protect your family while being a total couch potato, he’s your boy.
