PilsnerPilsner

Pilsner couldn’t be more excited about life. He’s a playful and energetic guy who likes to stay active and learn new things. Born in 2014, his tail is always wagging and his body is always wiggling. He loves to play fetch with his football, to go for walks and to be read to. Most of all he loves to be by his person’s side. In warmer months, you can almost always find him playing in his kiddie pool. His antics are sure to keep you smiling! He’d be the perfect companion for an active person seeking an adventure partner. *Pilsner’s adoption fees are sponsored by a generous donor.

Boydsouthern utah adoptable pets Boyd

Boyd may be a big boy but he still thinks he’s a lap dog and loves all the attention. He likes to cuddle and get scratches all over. His favorite thing is covering your face with sloppy kisses. At the Sanctuary, he lives alone, but he has spent time in a home with other dogs of all sizes and did very well. He even passed a small dog test at the Sanctuary. He cannot live with cats, however. Boyd was born in 2013. He can sometimes get overexcited, but he has made huge improvements since coming to the Sanctuary. If you’re willing to take the time to get to know a great guy, Boyd would love to meet you.

Sagesouthern utah adoptable pets Sage

Sage is approximately a year and a half old. RSQ Dogs best guess is Shepherd Malinois mix of sorts. Sage can be very timid around new people, and especially in new situations, so she is going to need someone willing to work on desensitizing her to the things of the world. She is able to jump fences, so she really needs a secure yard or a plan to keep her inside safe when her owners are away. She is a great loving dog, who bonds quickly to her people, and is loyal to a fault. She LOVES water, and hiking, and being able to run. She would make a good hiking, running, or even biking buddy!

He’s got a few extra pounds on him, so he’s on a strict eating plan but is ready for his new home with you. Go meet Bullet and see what a special boy he is.

She loves gentle kids and gets along with gentle dogs. She’s a lover girl that just needs someone to love her back.

Vegsouthern utah adoptable pets Veg

Veg, named for his love of vegetables, is said to be an absolute gem of a dog by his foster mom. He came to BAM from Needles, California where he had been languishing in a shelter for six months. One positive from his time there: in addition to their absolute love of him, a trainer worked with him regularly and it absolutely shows. Not only is Veg a handsome, golden-eyed beauty, he is also a very obedient and social young boy. He knows sit, down, kiss, and can shake with both paws. He loves the water and does very well with other dogs. His temperament with cats is unknown. He sleeps well in a crate at night and is a very well behaved house dog. Veg will make an excellent companion for hiking and exploring as he is active, athletic, and walks well on a leash. When he and his foster sister recently made a brief escape from home (he’s still got a little work to do with door bolting) they were both stopped dead in their tracks by the neighborhood Chihuahua. His foster mom called and they both came running so he also learned good recall. He reacts very positively to correction and is more of a follower than a leader with his dog friends. Veg is estimated to be less than 2 years of age, weighs about 60 lbs, has all of his vaccinations, is micro-chipped and will be neutered before his adoption is completed. He is available to go locally to a foster to adopt home now with the adoption finalized when he is neutered.
