Moomoosouthern utah adoptable pets Moomoo

Have you been looking to add some extra dairy to your lifestyle? Well, how about some Moomoo? This big boy takes just a short period of relationship building and then he’s utterly awesome! Once Moomoo is comfortable with his people he is the perfect combination of handsome, goofy, sensitive, and affectionate. Is Moomoo the right one for you?

Sampsonsouthern utah adoptable pets Sampson

He may not have long hair as the original Sampson, but he is just as handsome. Sampson could be part German Shepherd or Blue Heeler. No one knows for sure. But whatever his breed(s), he is a devilishly handsome chap with a charming and playful personality. Sampson takes a little time to warm up, be he is all about the treats. (He doesn’t know what a “diet” is.) If you rescue Sampson, he will rescue you right back.

SansaSouthern Utah adoptable pets Sansa

Sansa is one of those quirky Huskies that we all adore — beautifully independent, yet likes affection from her trusted people friends; sometimes quiet and aloof, but with a lot to say. She’s fluent in several canine languages, which she’ll happily tell you all about. Sansa loves her toys and would prefer not to share them, and takes some time to warm up to new people, so she would do best with someone that will take their time with her. And, albeit a bit cliche, this girl loves to run, so if you’re an active person looking for a running partner, Sansa is ready to go!

Willissouthern utah adoptable pets Willis

Willis is a busy guy. He loves to explore and play. He seeks out adventure and then likes to recover with a solid nap. He is as cute sleeping as he is awake. Willis likes communication. He lets you know what he wants to do and doesn’t like to be restrained. Willis needs a confident person with knowledge of cat behavior. Once he has built a relationship with you he is a cuddle bug. He will lay on you, give hugs, wants to be held and likes to rub his nose on you and whisper purrs into your ear. Willis also has play dates with his girlfriend Premula who lives in the same building.

Premulasouthern utah adoptable pets Premula

Premula is cautious around people, but she’s getting more comfortable every day. Initially, she was one of our famous ‘rafter cats,’ but now she spends more time on ground level. She’ll even let you get close if you have treats for her. She does great with other cats as long as they’re not aggressive. Born in 2013, she came from a Utah shelter. Premula arrived here with a bad eye that was not functioning. It was removed, and she does just fine. Premula will definitely take some time to adjust to the people in a new home, but if there are other easygoing and friendly cats she’ll settle in with them quickly.

Javiersouthern utah adoptable pets Javier

Javier is one of the cutest little kitties you will ever meet. He is as small as a kitten, and he’s also toothless. He doesn’t let his lack of teeth stop him from eating crunchy treats though. Javier loves all kinds of food and treats, and he will come running at top speed when it’s feeding time. He loves to play. He can often be found in a friendly wrestling match with his friend Clive. He can be very shy with people at first, so it might take him extra time to get settled into a home, but we think this little guy is worth the wait. Javi is a staff favorite at the sanctuary.

Clivesouthern utah adoptable pets Clive & Javiersouthern utah adoptable pets Clive

Clive is a silly, sweet, playful kitty. He spends most of his time with his buddy, Javier. He loves treats, catnip, and getting scritches on his neck and ears.

Sailor

Sailor is a 10-year-old Labrador Retriever and Rhodesian Ridgeback mix who has been living outside his whole life. He would love a family to show him what it’s like to be an inside dog and part of the family with a nice soft dog bed to spend his days! He would be good in a home with other dogs, children, or alone.

Nova

Nova is a 1-year-old Husky/Malamute mix. She came to us pregnant, and has since successfully delivered and weaned 7 beautiful puppies! All of her puppies have found their furever homes, and now it’s her turn! Nova is super sweet and playful. She’s currently in a foster home with two other dogs and a cat and doing wonderfully.

Sage

Sage is a shepherd mix and is approximately 1.5–2 years old. Sage is the most loving, sweetest girl. She takes her time to trust but, once she does, she’s the best!  She is able to jump fences, so she really needs a secure yard or a plan to keep her safe when her owners are away. She is a great loving dog, who bonds quickly to her people, and is loyal to a fault. She LOVES water, and hiking, and being able to run. She would make a good hiking, running, or even biking buddy!

Lisa

Lisa is approx 1 year old. She came to us very shut down and malnourished. Lisa never tried to bite or growl at our volunteers. She would just make herself as small as possible, close her eyes and try to hide. Now she spends her days climbing cat towers and hanging out with her BFF Smithers in a foster home. She is very petite and will stay a small cat.

Smithers

Smithers is a clown. He is a goofy young cat with an adult-sized body. He loves playing with other cats and toys. And he will never miss an opportunity to sit in your lap if you will let him. He is very trusting to new people. And he will make an excellent companion! Smithers also enjoys hanging out with his BFF Lisa.

Mike

It’s so hard to believe that Mike’s owners moved and left him behind. He is a very lovable cat and longs to be with a family again. He’s independent but also enjoys a good head scratch. Afterward, you will be rewarded with a hug. Mike is house-trained and would be good in a home with other cats, some dogs, or alone. This affectionate, sweet boy needs a loving home and he will love you for it.

She’s a pleaser who likes children and has a very easy-going personality. Amber is a cattle dog mix, approximately 1-year-old and looking for her new home.

Nimbus and Arnie

Nimbus and Arnie are the cutest duo in town. These two fun-loving boys are social, cuddly, loving, playful and boy do they love each other. They are 13 weeks old, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and scheduled for neutering. The adoption fee for both these guys to go home together is $100 or $95 each.

DeWittsouthern utah adoptable pets Dewitt3

DeWitt is 5 years old and a very handsome and loving cat. This sweetheart will make a good companion or family cat. This stunning guy is a loving curious cat. He will do best in a calm loving home. He gets along with other cats, loves affection but is also an independent cat.

Grayson

Looking for a new best friend? You’ve got to meet Grayson! This beautiful brindle boy enjoys going on long walks and is good on a leash. And he LOVES a good game of tug-of-war!

Grayson would prefer to be an only dog so he can have all the attention to himself and small children make him nervous so any children should be older and respectful. But he is such a love bug that you won’t want to share him with anyone anyway!

If you are interested in meeting this little cutie, call or text Julie at (435) 773-5209 Tuesday through Saturday between 9–5 p.m.

Flaco

Flaco (pronounced Flock O) is Spanish for skinny although we’re not sure why. He is a beautiful, energetic one-year-old boy looking for someone active to give him plenty of exercise or another dog with whom he can rumble and tumble. Flaco is a bit skittish but he just got here and needs to get to know everyone. He can also jump a 4′ fence so he’ll need something taller to keep him safe.

Flaco is available LOCALLY ONLY as a foster to adopt until February 11th (he is scheduled to be neutered on February 10th), at which time his adoption can be finalized and he can be yours for keeps!

If you are interested in meeting Flaco, call or text Julie at (435) 773-5209 Tuesday through Saturday between 9–5 p.m.

Bonnie

One of eight puppies (Bonnie is the only one with a little ridge on her back), these sweethearts are well socialized and love to play with the bigger pups. They will probably be great with other dogs, kids, and maybe even cats!

Bonnie will be available LOCALLY ONLY as a foster to adopt on February 2nd. Once spayed/neutered, the adoption can be finalized and the pup will be yours forever and ever!

Meanwhile, we’re accepting applications. If you are interested in getting in a snuggle or two and getting a whiff of puppy breath, call or text Julie at (435) 773-5209 Tuesday through Saturday between 9–5 p.m.

Oso

Oso, Spanish for bear, is a rough and tumble one- to two-year-old boy who is very smart (he already knows sit and shake) and is looking for someone active to give him lots of exercise and maybe even a canine brother or sister.

Oso is available LOCALLY ONLY as a foster to adopt until February 11th (he is scheduled to be neutered on February 10th), at which time his adoption can be finalized and he can be yours forever!

If you are interested in meeting Oso, call or text Julie at (435) 773-5209 Tuesday through Saturday between 9–5 p.m.

Jubilee

Meet baby Jubilee. She’s only about eight weeks old and cute as a button! She may be a mix between border collie and pit bull…no one knows for sure but she’s smart. She already knows how to use the doggie door and is learning to go outside to potty!

Jubilee loves playing with kids, toys, other dogs, and even cats! Her favorite thing to do, however, is snuggle with her foster family. She’s smart and lovable and will soon be able to learn lots of tricks and how to walk on a leash.

Jubilee will be available LOCALLY ONLY as a foster to adopt on February 10th. Later, when she has been spayed, the adoption can be finalized and she will be yours forever!

If you are interested in checking out this adorable little girl to see if she could be your new best friend, call or text Julie at (435) 773-5209 Tuesday through Saturday between 9–5 p.m.
