Petersouthern utah adoptable pets Peter

Peter is a big, goofy dog looking for a person or a family who’ll spend some quality time with him. He loves to do training and really enjoys doing activities where he can use his mind. Peter is perfect on a leash and loves walking with people. He also enjoys car rides and playing with toys.

Born in 2015, Peter is an active dog, but he doesn’t have to be doing something constantly. He’s a sunbather who really likes being outside and lounging around with people. He likes to remind everyone of his hound dog heritage by baying a big hello as people walk by. Peter does have some anxiety, especially when he is left alone. He’s been known to climb a six-foot fence and trees to escape a yard or enclosure. He lost his previous home because he kept escaping and wandering around the neighborhood. He’ll need to find a home where he can be kept safe and secure at all times.

Delaney

We aren’t sure if there is a sweeter dog than Delaney anywhere in the world. She absolutely loves you already and is such a doll that she would be happy in any home you have to offer. Delaney appreciates snacks, comfy beds and leisurely strolls.

Barley

Barley is an outgoing little fluff ball who loves to go on adventures. His short little legs and his age have never held him back! He’s always up for romping around, rolling on his back, and simply having a grand ol’ time. Barley enjoys the company of his people friends and does very well after some relationship building. He would need his potential new family to come to meet him at Dogtown to make sure it is a good fit. A couple of his all-time favorite things to do are playing fetch with a rotation of squeaky toys and get pets when he’s comfortable and ready.

Ellington

Ellington is as white as snow, with eyes resembling the big and beautiful planet Jupiter. An expert baker, he loves to make biscuits while receiving love and attention. He lets you know how much he wants more love with his tiny “mews”. A purrfect best friend and lap cat to bring home to a calm environment. Are you ready to meet your new best friend?

Dr. Mallard

Dr. Mallard has the best bedside manners! He is the kindest Doc to address all of your lap cat, furry friend needs! With a loud purr, he is happy to let you know just how much he loves being your best friend. Dr. Mallard would love to meet you! Make an appointment with him today!

Saffron

There’s no hiding it: Saffron is a true beauty. And she -will- try to hide it, at least when you first meet her. Saffy is a shy girl with gentle eyes and a good heart and is ready to find the person that will celebrate her inner and outer beauty alike.

Sailor

Sailor is a 10-year-old Labrador Retriever and Rhodesian Ridgeback mix who has been living outside his whole life. He would love a family to show him what it’s like to be an inside dog and part of the family with a nice soft dog bed to spend his days! He would be good in a home with other dogs, children, or alone.

Nova

Nova is a 1-year-old Husky/Malamute mix. She came to us pregnant, and has since successfully delivered and weaned 7 beautiful puppies! All of her puppies have found their furever homes, and now it’s her turn! Nova is super sweet and playful. She’s currently in a foster home with two other dogs and a cat and doing wonderfully.

Sage

Sage is a shepherd mix and is approximately 1.5–2 years old. Sage is the most loving, sweetest girl. She takes her time to trust but, once she does, she’s the best!  She is able to jump fences, so she really needs a secure yard or a plan to keep her safe when her owners are away. She is a great loving dog, who bonds quickly to her people, and is loyal to a fault. She LOVES water, and hiking, and being able to run. She would make a good hiking, running, or even biking buddy!

Clover

Clover is a beautiful, sweet cat. She would make a loving companion for a lucky person. She is a low-key girl who just wants a safe place to hang out. She would prefer to be an only cat, but might be okay with calmer feline friends. Clover is house-trained.

Chipmunk

Chipmunk and his sister Heidi are ready to be in their furever home. They are approximately 5 months old. Chipmunk is a great mix of playful and snuggle. He loves to be held and purrs away. These two will surely brighten your days and entertain you. They are house-trained and would be good in a home with other cats.

Heidi

Five-month-old Heidi and Chipmunk are ready to find their loving home. Heidi has an instantaneous purr when picked up. She loves to snuggle. They enjoy playing and exploring together. They will provide you with lots of entertainment and comfort. They are house-trained and would be good in a home with other cats.

Mr. Blizzard has come a long way.  He’s more confident, very loving, and learning it’s good to be a dog. He’s working on his potty training and doing well. Grayson

Looking for a new best friend? You’ve got to meet Grayson! This beautiful brindle boy enjoys going on long walks and is good on a leash. And he LOVES a good game of tug-of-war!

Grayson would prefer to be an only dog so he can have all the attention to himself and small children make him nervous so any children should be older and respectful. But he is such a love bug that you won’t want to share him with anyone anyway!

If you are interested in meeting this little cutie, call or text Julie at (435) 773-5209 Tuesday through Saturday between 9–5 p.m.

Flaco

Flaco (pronounced Flock O) is Spanish for skinny although we’re not sure why. He is a beautiful, energetic one-year-old boy looking for someone active to give him plenty of exercise or another dog with whom he can rumble and tumble. Flaco is a bit skittish but he just got here and needs to get to know everyone. He can also jump a 4′ fence so he’ll need something taller to keep him safe.

Flaco is available LOCALLY ONLY as a foster to adopt until February 11th (he is scheduled to be neutered on February 10th), at which time his adoption can be finalized and he can be yours for keeps!

If you are interested in meeting Flaco, call or text Julie at (435) 773-5209 Tuesday through Saturday between 9–5 p.m.

Bonnie

One of eight puppies (Bonnie is the only one with a little ridge on her back), these sweethearts are well socialized and love to play with the bigger pups. They will probably be great with other dogs, kids, and maybe even cats!

Bonnie will be available LOCALLY ONLY as a foster to adopt on February 2nd. Once spayed/neutered, the adoption can be finalized and the pup will be yours forever and ever!

Meanwhile, we’re accepting applications. If you are interested in getting in a snuggle or two and getting a whiff of puppy breath, call or text Julie at (435) 773-5209 Tuesday through Saturday between 9–5 p.m.

Oso

Oso, Spanish for bear, is a rough and tumble one- to two-year-old boy who is very smart (he already knows sit and shake) and is looking for someone active to give him lots of exercise and maybe even a canine brother or sister.

Oso is available LOCALLY ONLY as a foster to adopt until February 11th (he is scheduled to be neutered on February 10th), at which time his adoption can be finalized and he can be yours forever!

If you are interested in meeting Oso, call or text Julie at (435) 773-5209 Tuesday through Saturday between 9–5 p.m.

Jubilee

Meet baby Jubilee. She’s only about eight weeks old and cute as a button! She may be a mix between border collie and pit bull…no one knows for sure but she’s smart. She already knows how to use the doggie door and is learning to go outside to potty!

Jubilee loves playing with kids, toys, other dogs, and even cats! Her favorite thing to do, however, is snuggle with her foster family. She’s smart and lovable and will soon be able to learn lots of tricks and how to walk on a leash.

Jubilee will be available LOCALLY ONLY as a foster to adopt on February 10th. Later, when she has been spayed, the adoption can be finalized and she will be yours forever!

If you are interested in checking out this adorable little girl to see if she could be your new best friend, call or text Julie at (435) 773-5209 Tuesday through Saturday between 9–5 p.m.
