Lannister

Hey everyone, I’m Lannister! I’m a sweet boy, looking for a fun family to call my own! I have a thirst for adventure, and would love to go on long walks or hikes! I’m energetic, like other dogs, and can’t wait to get into my forever home! Make arrangements to come in and meet me today!

Doriansouthern utah adoptable pets Dorian

This handsome boy with his winning smile is ready to be adored! With his adorable squatty body, he can be a little clown or the sweetest cuddle buddy! Once Dorian loves you and knows you love him he will be your friend for life! He has a lot of personality and will be a joyful gentleman as long as you let him be himself! He is intelligent, loves training, and is very food motivated so would thrive in a home that can give his clever little mind activities and training regularly!

Kirbysouthern utah adoptable pets Kirby

Kirby is such a silly, friendly, and smart boy who has many friends at the center, both volunteers and staff alike. He is well behaved and walks well on his harness. He will do anything for a treat and knows lots of basic commands, including ‘sit,’ ‘down,’ ‘paw’ and ‘bow.’ Kirby enjoys walks, hikes, agility training, and nosework, but also enjoys a good nap. If you are looking for an awesome pup with a lovable personality to join your family of teens and adults, this is your guy!

Squashsouthern utah adoptable pets Squash

Squash is a young fella that arrived in 2018 from Enoch, UT. He gets along great with his feline roommates, loves attention, loves treats, loves laps, being held, and is usually the first at the door to greet you. He has been on many sleepovers and anyone that meets him falls instantly in love. He is FIV+ which sounds scarier than it is but rest assured he is happy and healthy and can live like any other cat. While he does have some challenges don’t let that stop you from giving this guy a chance, you will not regret it.

Cricketsouthern utah adoptable pets Cricket

Cricket was living as a stray on a busy street in California when a kind person rescued her and brought her to Best Friends. We estimate she was born in 2012. She is curious about people, but does not want to be touched yet. She tests positive for Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV), so she will need to be an only cat or live with other FeLV cats. She has no issues getting along with other cats. She has an old fracture of her tibia that healed incorrectly causing her to limp. She is very intelligent. Cricket would do well in a quiet home with someone who is willing to take the time to build a trusting relationship.

Squeaky

Squeaky is a gorgeous black and white cat who is looking for a wonderful home. He is talkative and friendly with people he knows, but he is an introvert and takes his time letting people in. He wants to be a patient, quiet person’s companion, and he would make a loving addition to any home. Schedule a meet-and-greet today!

Millie

Millie is one of the sweetest dogs you’ll ever meet. She loves toys and to play, whether with a dog pal or playing fetch with her human. Millie has been awesome with kids and very gentle. She also is great with other dogs and cats. Millie is potty and doggy door trained and just a joy to have around!

Phoenix

Phoenix is the funniest and sweetest girl. She can be standoffish at first but warms up in minutes. She has pretty bad hip dysplasia but that doesn’t slow her down. She plays with the other dogs in the house from sun up to sundown. She can go up and down the stairs and uses a dog door pretty well. She is definitely a velcro dog but does fine when left alone. She is still a puppy so she does try to get into things. Overall, she is really a great dog. She is potty trained, does well in a crate, good with dogs and people, and gets around really well on her own. She definitely comes with challenges due to her hips but she is a great dog and would be a good fit with almost any kind of family.

Sailor

Sailor is a 10-year-old Lab/Rhodesian ridgeback mix who has been living outside his whole life. He would love a family to show him what it’s like to be an inside dog and part of the family with a nice soft dog bed to spend his days! Sailor would be good in a home with other dogs, children, or alone.

Andy

Andy was hit by a car and had a broken hip. He is now completely healed after surgery and is ready to romp and play. Andy enjoys chasing toys and getting lots of head scratches. Andy is house-trained and would be good in a home with other cats or alone.

Mike

It’s so hard to believe that Mike’s owners moved and left him behind. He is a very lovable cat and longs to be with a family again. He’s independent but also enjoys a good head scratch. Afterward, you will be rewarded with a hug. Mike is house-trained and would be good in a home with other cats or alone.

Hazel

Hazel is a young cat who had been living outside. She is now enjoying her warm and safe bed. She’s learning to trust humans and is starting to enjoy her daily brushes. Hazel is house-trained and would be good in a home with other cats or alone.

Andie enjoys going on walks and loves playing tug of war with everyone, two- and four-legged alike. She’s spayed, crate trained, up to date on her vaccinations, microchipped, and she’s ready to meet her new forever family! She would love to be included in an active family who could run and hike with her. Although Andie likes kids and other animals, she may be too rough for little ones.

Bobby

Who leaves their beautiful boy at doggy daycare forever? Well, someone did and now we have Bobby and he’s more than ready to find a new family that won’t ever abandon him again.

Bobby is housebroken, neutered and up to date with his vaccinations. Plus, he’s great with other dogs! He loves long walks and car rides and playing tug-of-war and fetch (he does need a ball larger than a tennis ball or he tries to swallow it). Wait until you see him chase his tail, even crazier, his own leg! He’s such a fun boy!

If you are interested in meeting Bobby, visit that BAM Place between 9–5pm Tuesday through Saturday or submit a BAM Adoption Application and, if approved, we’ll contact you within 7 days to arrange a meeting.

Dee Dee

Dee Dee is a precious little senior long-haired dachshund who had to be shaved before she could travel to BAM because she was so matted. She was lumpy, bumpy, a little warty, and had some pretty nasty teeth but, after a snip here, a nip there, and a few tugs everywhere, she’s looking and feeling so much better!!! She’s looking forward to getting her stitches out on March 3rd and moving into her forever home.

Dee Dee has glaucoma which will require ongoing treatment (eye drops) and she may be a bit hard of hearing, but she has the sweetest temperament and loves to walk. She isn’t really a lap dog … yet … but she does like to be near her people and will follow you everywhere

If you would like to meet this delightful girl, visit that BAM Place between 9–5pm Tuesday through Saturday or submit a BAM Adoption Application and, if approved, we’ll contact you within 7 days to arrange a meeting. To submit an application, click here.

Titan and Keeva

Meet this bonded pair: Titan (95 lb Male, 6 yrs) and Keeva (60 lb Female, 5 yrs). Keeva was 8 wks old when she met her big brother and they are tightly bonded. They were their mom and dad’s only children and did everything together: mountain camping, hiking, car rides, playing in streams, strolling the neighborhood. They are primarily house pets but obviously love being active in the outdoors and using their doggy door to explore the yard.

The family has now expanded with an infant and a toddler. Managing two full-time jobs and the babies has added stress and put a strain on the time and care mom and dad can spend with them. The dogs feel the difference and are longing for their pre-baby life back. Mom and Dad’s hearts are broken but feel it is only fair to find the perfect, active family for these two to get their show back on the road.

With the proper introduction, they are good with children and all animals, including cats. If children, 10 or older would be preferable so these dogs can get the attention they need. Huskies need to be part of the pack. They are not happy to be an outdoor pet that is not part of the family. With a little daily exercise and a home of their own, they make absolutely wonderful pets.

To learn more, please call Debbie at 858-531-8919. PLEASE, DO NOT CONTACT BECAUSE ANIMALS MATTER – THIS IS A COURTESY LISTING ONLY – THANK YOU
