Pup Pup

Pup Pup is a very expressive dog. He always has a gentle demeanor and loves every person he meets. Born in 2015, he has that perfectly balanced energy level where he would be happy to go for a jog or a hike or stay home cuddling on the couch while getting belly rubs. He loves riding shotgun around town and finding the perfect toy to play with. He’s a loving companion who can’t wait to have a home and toy bin of his own.

*Pup Pup has a generous sponsor who will cover his adoption and transportation fees.

Boyd

Boyd may be a big boy but he still thinks he’s a lap dog and loves all the attention. He likes to cuddle and get scratches all over. His favorite thing is covering your face with sloppy kisses. At the Sanctuary, he lives alone, but he has spent time in a home with other dogs of all sizes and did very well. He even passed a small dog test at the Sanctuary. He cannot live with cats, however. Boyd was born in 2013. He can sometimes get overexcited, but he has made huge improvements since coming to the Sanctuary. If you’re willing to take the time to get to know a great guy, Boyd would love to meet you.

Watts

If you’re looking for the world’s greatest detective Watts is the dog for you! The world can be a bit overwhelming for Watts at times so to help with his confidence he loves doing nose work hunting out the treats we have hidden for him. He has become a master sleuth and can figure out any puzzle!

Because Watts can get overwhelmed at times, his ideal home would be quiet with a person who can allow him to do things at his own pace. He is a great companion who will respect your space and, although not overly affectionate when he is in his element with the people he loves he is happy and enthusiastic. He has lived with other dogs and mostly keeps to himself so he would make a great companion for another dog that isn’t looking for a lot of attention. Watts is looking for that perfect person to love and help him enjoy his golden years!

Roper

Roper will draw you in instantly with his wide baby blue eyes. This gorgeous boy has plenty of experience being in a home and would love to put that experience to good use! Although he may seem a bit timid at first, Roper knows that after a short time where he can settle in, he can be the perfect house cat. Are you ready to meet Roper today?

Beeb

Beeb is a quiet, reserved type of guy who loves a safe spot from which he can observe the world go by. This healthy boy is looking for a partnership where he can help keep vermin away in exchange for regular meals and a warm place to snuggle up. Do you have the right spot for Beeb?

Bay

Bay is a cute little feline that is exploring his new digs. He has already made new friends and enjoys sitting by the dock of the bay wasting time.

Milan

Milan is a 7-month-old lab mix. Looking for a loving family to show her that life can be more exciting than she’s been able to experience yet. She’s a puppy that is still learning basic manners, but is eager to please and loves to cuddle! She would be good in a home with other dogs, children, or alone.

Tilly

Tilly is a 1 ½-year-old Australian Shepherd & Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler mix. She was recently surrendered to us due to no fault of her own, the husband just didn’t like her. We don’t know what she went through but we know she is extremely shy and submissive. She is a very sweet dog once she opens up. She’s been around kids and other dogs and does great. She will need a very loving, compassionate, and patient home that will show her what an amazing life she can have and deserves!

Phoenix

Phoenix is the funniest and sweetest girl. She can be standoffish at first but warms up in minutes. She has pretty bad hip dysplasia but that doesn’t slow her down. She plays with the other dogs in the house from sun up to sundown. She can go up and down the stairs and uses a dog door pretty well. She is definitely a velcro dog but does fine when left alone. She is still a puppy so she does try to get into things. Overall, she is really a great dog. She is potty trained, does well in a crate, good with dogs and people, and gets around really well on her own. She definitely comes with challenges due to her hips but she is a great dog and would be a good fit with almost any kind of family.

Pepe Le Pew

Pepe Le Pew is an animated cat. He’s on a quest for a loving home. He may have a stripe on his back but he doesn’t have an offensive odor. No need to run away–run to RSQ Dogs+ website and complete an adoption application. He is house-trained and would be good in a home with other cats or alone.

Finn

Finn is full of charm. He may even have mystical supernatural powers. He’s waiting to find that special person who will also be generous with their love and affection. Finn is house-trained and would be good in a home with other cats or alone.

Joe Dirt

Joe Dirt has been traveling in search of his furever home. He was rescued from the streets with a foot injury which required amputation of a toe. Despite this injury, he has been a lovable cat and his foot has healed without incident. He has fine qualities and would love to find a new family who will play with him and brush his gorgeous fur. Will you invite Joe to come home with you? Joe Dirt is house-trained and would be good in a home with other cats or alone.

Leni is approximately 1-2 years old. She absolutely LOVES to play with toys and fetch tennis balls. She does well on a leash, is house-trained, is friendly, and well mannered.  She does ok with most dogs but does NOT like to share her toys. Her adoption fee is $60.

Lulu

Lulu is an amazing dog, and she is up for adoption! She loves cuddles and attention. She is housebroken. Walks great on a leash. Very mellow and easy-going. She is a tiny little lady. She gets along with other dogs. Also included in her adoption is a dental visit this is scheduled for May but Lulu can go home now. Her adoption fee is a senior special of $30.

Kiki

Nine-year-old Kiki has had quite a few changes in her life. Her “person” moved into a new home and was not home as much. Her lifelong bonded dogs were given up for adoption leaving Kiki alone. Kiki did not do well with the changes and was just not happy. She will do well in a quiet home where there is someone around her most of the time. Her adoption fee is a senior special of $20.

Elsa, Jubilee, and Misha

MEET THE PUPPIES

  • Tiny Elsa and Misha came to us from the reservation and we have no idea what sort of girl she’ll grow up to be. All we know is she’s adorable now and very well socialized!
  • Meet baby Jubilee! She’s only about 2-1/2 months old and cute as a button! She may be a mix between border collie and pit bull but no one knows for sure. She already knows how to use the doggie door and is learning to go outside to potty! Jubilee loves playing with kids, toys, other dogs and even cats! Her favorite thing to do, however, is snuggle. She’s smart and lovable and will soon be learning lots of tricks and how to walk on a leash.

These puppies are available LOCALLY ONLY as foster to adopt. Once she has been spayed, the adoption can be finalized and she will be yours forever and ever!

Jacob

Poor little Jacob was hit by a car and ended up losing a large chunk of his tail which feels better and is now a cute little nub. He’s a shy, sweet boy who only wants someone he can love and trust to keep him safe. We aren’t sure what breeds he has in him but there’s probably a bunch! He’s long and lean with legs like a basset hound but his head is more like a terrier that’s what we at BAM call a one-of-a-kind perfect blend!

Acesouthern utah adoptable pets ACE

Ace is a happy, big old pup who has no idea he’s ever been injured, has recently had major surgery, and definitely doesn’t’ know that he’s supposed to have been calm and quiet while recuperating. His vet is amazed at just how well he has done so quickly!

Ace has a lot of energy and will need an active home. He would love to have a nice big yard to play in, along with regular and increasing exercise to strengthen his leg. In a few months, he’ll likely want to go on hikes and long walks. In the meantime, he loves affection and he loves to play! If he has toys and balls, he can entertain himself for long periods of time. He’d love you to throw the ball, but if you’re not available, he’s perfectly capable of throwing it for himself!! He needs to learn some manners but he is a bright boy and will learn quickly. He does tend to be toy possessive so some supervision will be needed with his doggy playmates.

Ace is fully vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, and ready to go to his forever home today!!! He will need an adopter with patience and one who is willing to care for him if his leg causes him issues in the future.

To find out more about Ace, meet him and see if he’s a match for you, text, or call Julie at (435) 773-5209.

Barrysouther utah adoptable pets BARRY

Barry is not a lap dog (unless he decides he wants to be). Instead, he is a grumpy boy who came to us with a broken pelvis which still causes him pain. In the year he’s been with us, Barry also suffered seizures and kidney stones. He’s on a special diet and medication for all of these things, but he’s still a grump. And we all still love him!

Since being in our care, the poor guy has had to deal with puppies and big dogs who don’t understand why he doesn’t want to roughhouse. He does get along with dogs who aren’t in his face and likes to fetch a ball as long as you don’t try to take it back from him (Barry’s rules).

Ornery as he is, Barry is kind of our mascot and we want the old guy to catch a break and live out the remainder of his life with someone he can find solace in.

Barry loves to rub his back on the floor and wiggle and loves to have belly rubs by a person of his choosing. He enjoys certain members of our team while others simply aren’t his cup of tea.

To find out more about Barry, meet him and see if he’s a match for you, text, or call Julie at (435) 773-5209.

Aayla

Sweetheart Aayla is a six-year-old bulldog mix who loves being with people, riding in the car, going on walks, and being the center of attention. She is housebroken and kennel trained, spayed, microchipped, and up to date on her vaccinations.

Aayla has been an only dog and may do best in a home without other pets. Then again, she may be fine with other animals. In any case, she should be introduced to any potential siblings prior to adoption.

Titan and Keeva

Meet this bonded pair: Titan (95 lb Male, 6 yrs) and Keeva (60 lb Female, 5 yrs). Keeva was 8 wks old when she met her big brother and they are tightly bonded. They were their mom and dad’s only children and did everything together: mountain camping, hiking, car rides, playing in streams, strolling the neighborhood. They are primarily house pets but obviously love being active in the outdoors and using their doggy door to explore the yard.

The family has now expanded with an infant and a toddler. Managing two full-time jobs and the babies has added stress and put a strain on the time and care mom and dad can spend with them. The dogs feel the difference and are longing for their pre-baby life back. Mom and Dad’s hearts are broken but feel it is only fair to find the perfect, active family for these two to get their show back on the road.

With the proper introduction, they are good with children and all animals, including cats. If children, 10 or older would be preferable so these dogs can get the attention they need. Huskies need to be part of the pack. They are not happy to be an outdoor pet that is not part of the family. With a little daily exercise and a home of their own, they make absolutely wonderful pets.

To learn more, please call Debbie at 858-531-8919. PLEASE, DO NOT CONTACT BECAUSE ANIMALS MATTER – THIS IS A COURTESY LISTING ONLY – THANK YOU
