Fitz

Fitz is an artsy kind of guy with his own unique style. His eye-liner is on point, enhancing his gorgeous brown eyes, and he even has a few spatters of color that looks like he painted them himself.

This one-of-a-kind work of art will take his time getting to know you but will fall hard once he does! Don’t be surprised if he lays his head in your lap and rolls over to be painted like one of Leo’s French girls. Fitz is a great hiking buddy and enjoys connecting with nature to get ideas for his future paintings. He will also be happy to take in the scenery while cruising around in your car. Fitz likes to kick back and relax after a day on the trails.

Once you are pals, he will be a devoted and loyal companion and might even paint your portrait. (Just kidding! He can’t do that, but he does know sit!) Running zoomies in the yard is another one of his hobbies. Like many famous artists who came before him, Fitz has his quirks. For example, our aspiring Picasso loves children but is afraid of chickens!
A demanding artist also requires your sole affection, so no other dogs in the home. If you’re a fan of his artistic flair, come meet Fitz and see if you can make a masterpiece together!

Safirasouthern utah adoptable pets Safira

Treats and baby talk are the way to this girl’s heart. Safira can be a bit shy and fearful with people she doesn’t know, but, with a little time and patience, she will give her trust. And, once she trusts people, she loves them.

Born in 2011, Safira is an active, playful girl. She loves toys, especially tennis balls and her big Jolly ball. Fetch and swimming are two of her favorite things. Safira has overcome her fear of cars and enjoys golf cart rides around the Sanctuary. She eats a prescription diet and prefers male dogs to other females. She’d love a home with someone who will take the time to get to know her and who will enjoy her playful, silly side.

Duckysouthern utah adoptable pets Ducky

Ducky is a total goofball who loves to make silly faces and give kisses. After being rescued during Hurricane Harvey, he’s been so happy and excited about every part of life. Born in 2014, Ducky is the perfect blend of affectionate and independent. He loves spending time with people on walks, and he is a great hiking buddy. During downtime, he is totally content to play with his toys on his own. Ducky can get very excited and jumpy with people he likes, but he can also get overwhelmed and nervous with petting.

Ducky has a history of guarding his food, and he has bitten in the past to protect it. He’s made significant improvements with all the training he’s done at the sanctuary, but his new person or family will need to keep working with him. Once the food bowl is put away, Ducky is the most happy-go-lucky character. If you’re looking for a dog who knows how to be the class clown, he would love to meet you.

Vidoa

A face this beautiful is hard to resist! Vidia knows this too and she wants to be yours so she can make biscuits on snuggly blankets and purr all day long near her favorite people. If you think you would make a great snuggle partner for Vidoa then please make arrangements to meet her today!

Elsa, Barney, and Emmie

MEET THE PUPPIES

  • Meet Barney who was one of six beautiful puppies born right here at That BAM Place.
  • Meet Emmie who was one of six beautiful puppies born right here at That BAM Place.

These puppies are available LOCALLY ONLY as foster to adopt. Once she has been spayed, the adoption can be finalized and she will be yours forever and ever!

Boonie

Boonie is a sweet little ten-year-old pup looking a real forever home. He’s well behaved, warms up quickly to people, and enjoys playing with kids. He knows come, sit, down, stay, wait, and “Is that treat for me?”

Though not really a lap dog, Boonie enjoys being around people. He currently has dry eyes which require daily cleaning and eye drops and, because he’s a long-haired dog, he will need an adopter committed to keeping him groomed and handsome.

Boonie has been passed around a bit recently and is ready for some stability. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, housebroken, and ready to go, so come and get him.

Dallas

Five-year-old Dallas is a happy, energetic little dog who came to BAM all the way from Texas. He’s a great little walker and is fearless when playing with big dogs at the dog park. He’s quite confident, warming up quickly to people (especially women), and is very loving, giving kisses generously.

Because he’s so small, older, respectful children in the home are preferred. And we’re told that he does NOT like men wearing black shoes!!! Why? We have no idea.

Aayla

Sweetheart Aayla is a six-year-old bulldog mix who loves being with people, riding in the car, going on walks, and being the center of attention. She is housebroken and kennel trained, spayed, microchipped, and up to date on her vaccinations.

Aayla has been an only dog and may do best in a home without other pets. Then again, she may be fine with other animals. In any case, she should be introduced to any potential siblings prior to adoption.

If you would like to meet this delightful girl, submit a BAM Adoption Application and, if approved, we’ll contact you within 7 days to arrange a meeting.

Titan and Keeva

Meet this bonded pair: Titan (95 lb Male, 6 yrs) and Keeva (60 lb Female, 5 yrs). Keeva was 8 wks old when she met her big brother and they are tightly bonded. They were their mom and dad’s only children and did everything together: mountain camping, hiking, car rides, playing in streams, strolling the neighborhood. They are primarily house pets but obviously love being active in the outdoors and using their doggy door to explore the yard.

The family has now expanded with an infant and a toddler. Managing two full-time jobs and the babies has added stress and put a strain on the time and care mom and dad can spend with them. The dogs feel the difference and are longing for their pre-baby life back. Mom and Dad’s hearts are broken but feel it is only fair to find the perfect, active family for these two to get their show back on the road.

With the proper introduction, they are good with children and all animals, including cats. If children, 10 or older would be preferable so these dogs can get the attention they need. Huskies need to be part of the pack. They are not happy to be an outdoor pet that is not part of the family. With a little daily exercise and a home of their own, they make absolutely wonderful pets.

To learn more, please call Debbie at 858-531-8919. PLEASE, DO NOT CONTACT BECAUSE ANIMALS MATTER – THIS IS A COURTESY LISTING ONLY – THANK YOU
