Feebeesouthern utah adoptable pets Feebee

Feebee does a happy dance when she sees one of her people and it will absolutely win you over. Feebee can be silly, too. She sometimes gets the ‘zoomies’ when she’s around her caregivers and feeling especially happy. She gets equally excited to snuggle or to go for a walk on the trails. Feebee has a routine when meeting new people and she will need to continue this training in a home. Feebee thrives with structure, routine, and a little patience. As long as she has that when she goes into a home, she will settle in just fine.

Feebee is working on making dog friends but right now she is only comfortable walking next to them and not actually meeting them so she would do best as the only dog in her new home. Feebee loves to learn and especially loves to show off the skills she has already learned. Feebee is an affectionate girl and a joy to be around, she would love to be your new best friend!

Dalmonsouthern utah adoptable pets Dalmon

Dalmon wants to be your best friend, he just doesn’t know it yet. It may take some relationship-building to win Dalmon over at first, but once you do he becomes one of the sweetest dogs you’ll ever meet. He is looking for that amazing person or family who has a couch and some yummy treats to keep him happy and content for the rest of his days.

When you first meet him you wouldn’t know the sweet, gentle goofball that lies behind his tough-guy exterior. Once you win him over you’ll discover an affectionate couch potato who just wants a person to give his affection to. Give him a chance and with little time and patience, you will be so happy with the great dog you come to know and love.

Zola

Zola is happy to do almost anything for a treat! She offers a quick sit for her leash and loves going on hikes and can go all day! She is happy with other dogs or as a single dog but would prefer a home with adults who love to walk/hike and train her to do new tricks and give lots of rubs on her sides!

Squashsouthern utah adoptable pets Squash

Squash is a young fella that arrived in 2018 from Enoch, UT. He gets along great with his feline roommates, loves attention, loves treats, loves laps, being held, and is usually the first at the door to greet you. He has been on many sleepovers and anyone that meets him falls instantly in love. He is FIV+ which sounds scarier than it is but rest assured he is happy and healthy and can live like any other cat. While he does have some challenges don’t let that stop you from giving this guy a chance, you will not regret it.

Fozzysouthern utah adoptable pets Fozzy

Fozzy is a cuddly teddy bear who can never get enough attention. If he isn’t waiting by the door he will come running when anyone enters the room. Fozzy will follow you wherever you go and is wonderful company. He doesn’t like to share the attention with other cats and would prefer a home with humans only. If you have lots of time for cuddles come and meet Fozzy.

Kensouthern utah adoptable pets Ken

This talkative and friendly boy named Ken is the ultimate lap cat! He’s a gentle, precious, and cuddly little love-bug. This easygoing and mellow fellow will purr nonstop in your lap and loves to just relax with you. He has Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV) so he’ll need to be an only cat or live with other cats who have the virus. Come meet this playful, happy and confident cutie today!

Roo

Roo is a female, large, mixed breed puppy. From her foster mom: “Roo is very smart and active. She loves to play with her toys or just chew on a bone. She has been around little kids, cats, and all different sizes of dogs. She would love to have fur siblings or fur friends. She is still very much a puppy and will need some puppy training. She has so much love to give and is looking for her forever family.

Moonbeam (Mom) and Starlight (daughter)

Moonbeam and Starlight are a bonded senior mother and adult daughter pair. We believe these darling girls are Pomeranian/chihuahua mixes weighing in at approx 8 pounds each. They are very friendly, quiet, well-behaved, and potty trained. These two little ladies would thrive in a quiet or mature home with a lot of love to give.

Chicken Little

Look what fell into our rescue center! Chicken Little! This adorable eight week old kitten is out to prove everyone wrong and not remain at the center long. Maybe a week or two. He has a sweet disposition and like all kittens, is very playful. He is house-trained and would be good in a home with other cats or alone.

Sully

Sully came to us from Logan, Utah. He wandered into someone’s garage and they realized that something was very wrong and reached out for help. His neck had been slit open and he had been in that condition for several days. After a 6 hour drive to get to us, being hospitalized at 3 different clinics, several surgeries, and 26 days in intensive care, Sully was released to a loving foster home where he thrived and healed! His worst wounds are healed with only a small patch still healing. He is now READY and so deserving to find his loving fur-ever home! He is house-trained and would be good in a home with other cats or alone.

Ducky

Ducky is a gorgeous young Turkish Angora. This green and blue-eyed boy is energetic, playful, nice, and an all-around great cat. With a little harness training, we think he could become a great adventure cat. Cutie Ducky is looking for someone to be his constant companion. He is house-trained and would be good in a home with other cats or alone

Amya

She is a shepherd mix that is about 1 1/2 years old. She is a high-energy girl that enjoys playing with toys and wants to be on the go constantly. She will not do well in an apartment, she can be destructive if she’s bored. Amya is used to being around other dogs, cats, and children (older kids would be better, as she is very active and may knock over younger kids). Her adoption fee is $60.

Cali #1

Cali’s owner could no longer keep her. Cali is very independent and likes to pick her company. At this time no small children or other pets in the home. She loves her person and will be wonderful company. She is not a “lap cat” but loves to be petted and brushed. Her adoption fee is $40.

Gunner

Poor Gunner came to the shelter after being hit by a car and had large wounds on his legs and belly. He’s healing nicely now and will be cone-free soon. Aside from a few white hairs on his chest, he is a beautiful solid liver color. We think he is about four years old. Gunner is a sweet, active boy who loves to hang out with people and other dogs or just roam around the yard watching the birds. He’ll play fetch or sit in your lap with a toy in his mouth. Either way, he’ll be a wonderful companion.

German Shorthair Pointers are an active breed which require a LOT of exercise and human interaction. They are smart, fantastic family dogs with an abundance of energy. Keep that in mind if he will be around small children. Gunner will need an adopter willing to spend lots of time giving him the attention and exercise he requires.

Gunner is available LOCALLY ONLY as foster to adopt. Once he’s been cleared medically, his adoption will be finalized. Until then, his foster will have to endure a cone in the back of their legs and will need to take him to the vet for any follow-up appointments. BAM will cover medical cost until the adoption is final.

If you’re interested in Gunner, submit a BAM Adoption Application and, if approved, we’ll contact you as soon as possible to arrange a meeting. If you don’t hear back within 7 days, please text us at (435) 773-5209.

Lenny

Three-year-old Lenny is thought to be a Miniature Australian Shepherd/Shetland Sheepdog blend which makes him a super cute herding dog. He sometimes likes to herd the other dogs which can make them grumpy but mostly he just loves to romp and play with them. Lenny likes playing ball, even though he doesn’t bring it back, running, barking at big birds, and playing, especially with soft toys and tug!

Lenny is a little shy at first but warms up quickly. He knows basic commands, is dog door trained, housebroken, microchipped, neutered, and ready to go! He also walks well on a leash and loves to ride in the car.

Lenny’s previous person let him get a bit plump (37 pounds–yikes!) and he’ll need an adopter who will help him reach a healthy weight and keep him there because he could have more fun if he could run and jump more. And, then maybe he could go on long walks or hikes. Lenny would probably be great with older, respectful kids. We haven’t tested him with cats yet

If you’re interested in Lenny, submit a BAM Adoption Application and, if approved, we’ll contact you as soon as possible to arrange a meeting. If you don’t hear back within 7 days, please text us at (435) 773-5209.

Barrysouther utah adoptable pets BARRY

Barry is not a lap dog (unless he decides he wants to be). Instead, he is a grumpy boy who came to us with a broken pelvis which still causes him pain. In the year he’s been with us, Barry also suffered seizures and kidney stones. He’s on a special diet and medication for all of these things, but he’s still a grump. And we all still love him!

Since being in our care, the poor guy has had to deal with puppies and big dogs who don’t understand why he doesn’t want to roughhouse. He does get along with dogs who aren’t in his face and likes to fetch a ball as long as you don’t try to take it back from him (Barry’s rules). Ornery as he is, Barry is kind of our mascot and we want the old guy to catch a break and live out the remainder of his life with someone he can find solace in.

Barry loves to rub his back on the floor and wiggle and loves to have belly rubs by a person of his choosing. He enjoys certain members of our team while others simply aren’t his cup of tea

To find out more about Barry, meet him and see if he’s a match for you, text, or call Julie at (435) 773-5209.

Mikko

Mikko” (pronounced Mick O), Hebrew for God, is a lovely gentleman who enjoys short walks and hanging out with other dogs, especially little ones. He’s an absolute lover boy and bonds quickly with everyone

Mikko will be having a mass removed from his leg soon and will be available for adoption once it’s done. He’s neutered, microchipped, housebroken, up-to-date on his vaccinations, and ready to move to his new forever home.

If you’re interested in Mikko, submit a BAM Adoption Application and, if approved, we’ll contact you as soon as possible to arrange a meeting. If you don’t hear back within 7 days, please text us at (435) 773-5209.

Titan and Keeva

Meet this bonded pair: Titan (95 lb Male, 6 yrs) and Keeva (60 lb Female, 5 yrs). Keeva was 8 wks old when she met her big brother and they are tightly bonded. They were their mom and dad’s only children and did everything together: mountain camping, hiking, car rides, playing in streams, strolling the neighborhood. They are primarily house pets but obviously love being active in the outdoors and using their doggy door to explore the yard.

The family has now expanded with an infant and a toddler. Managing two full-time jobs and the babies has added stress and put a strain on the time and care mom and dad can spend with them. The dogs feel the difference and are longing for their pre-baby life back. Mom and Dad’s hearts are broken but feel it is only fair to find the perfect, active family for these two to get their show back on the road.

With the proper introduction, they are good with children and all animals, including cats. If children, 10 or older would be preferable so these dogs can get the attention they need. Huskies need to be part of the pack. They are not happy to be an outdoor pet that is not part of the family. With a little daily exercise and a home of their own, they make absolutely wonderful pets.

To learn more, please call Debbie at 858-531-8919. PLEASE, DO NOT CONTACT BECAUSE ANIMALS MATTER – THIS IS A COURTESY LISTING ONLY – THANK YOU
