Fawkes

Are you looking for those special Shar-Pei wrinkles surrounding a devoted, affectionate, and loyal heart? Then look no further than Fawkes! Fawkes is a total sweetheart who loves to go for walks, car rides, play with toys, and hang out with people. She’s a bit of a couch potato who would be happy to chill at home most days and go for leisurely adventures on the weekends.

Fawkes had a rough start before coming to Best Friends due to untreated medical problems but has since blossomed after receiving proper medical care. She is currently trying a special diet to help with her itchiness and gets eye medications to help with dry eye. Fawkes would do best in an adult-only home with people who want a calm dog to keep them company. Would you consider giving this sweet gal the chill, loving home she deserves?

Memo

Are you looking for a laid-back guy who is also always up for an adventure? Look no further than Memo! This boy takes a moment to meet and then he’s ready for anything. Memo loves going out to explore the world with his favorite people and wants to stop and smell every flower and then get zoomies through all of them. If you’re wanting a quieter day, he’s happy to adjust his schedule to become a couch cuddle bug, bonus points if there’s a soft blanket to snuggle with. This sweet boy would love to meet you and be your new best friend! Come and meet Memo today!

Tuck

Tuck is a lovable dog who is happy just hanging out at home with his people. He enjoys gentle head pats, belly rubs, and ear scratches, as well as cuddling, once he knows and trusts you.

Tuck can be protective of his space and will need someone who understands that he is sensitive and sometimes startled about being touched. While Tuck is working to overcome his fear of his space being invaded, he will need someone who will continue to work with him to build up his confidence and trust. Tuck responds to “sit” and “go to your room”. He enjoys accepting treats as a reward and is working on shake, down, place, and stay. He is crate trained and has good house manners. While Tuck will not be a good running buddy, he loves going on walks. Say “let’s go” and he knows it’s leading to something good. Tuck is also happy to just sunbathe, hang out, or go for a ride in the car. If you’d like to learn more about Tuck, please reach out to an adoption specialist today.

Moxie

Social and sweet, Moxie is a definite love bug who is charming and loyal. She enjoys getting as much attention from humans as she can and her purr is delightful. She’s had a rough go of it and is looking for her forever home where she can share her love with a forever family.

Smudge (*DECLAWED-INDOORS ONLY*)

I just need an understanding heart to get me through the transition to my new family. I would love a very quiet home with an adult or retired person where I can enjoy a relatively predictable lifestyle and where peace and quiet reign. Once I am settled into my new home, you will find that I am a happy and talkative kitty who is very social and loving. I might even do well with one other chill kitty friend. Are you the understanding heart I need? Would you please come to meet me? Though I have lived with other animals and children, I may prefer to be an only pet. I would prefer a quiet home where I will be allowed to adjust at my own pace. I am sweet and sure to be a wonderful friend. I am 11 years old and my adoption fee is $40.

Quincy

Although she isn’t doing the full husky howl yet, baby Quincy is already very talkative and she has plenty of important things to say.

Born May 31st, she’s almost … but not quite … house trained. She loves water and would be so happy with an adopter who doesn’t mind snuggling a wet girl! She has fun with dogs of all sizes and even gets along with cats!

Quincy’s going to make a great family dog but her puppy teeth are razor sharp and she likes to bite so she should be fully supervised around kids. She needs lots of chew toys until those big-girl teeth come in.

Quincy will be available on August 4th after her second round of puppy shots but will need to come back to That BAM Place one more time for round three.

Ozzie

Ozzie is a sweet, playful girl who is ready for any adventure. At 3-1/2 years old, she has a lot of energy and loves to play. This girl can occupy herself alone outside but also loves to romp with kids and other dogs. She will always be happy to stop to give you kisses and follow you around admirably.

Ozzie does have a strong prey drive, however, so cats and chickens are not going to be safe with her. She’s an amazing dog that someone gave up on too soon. She is ready for a parent or family to give their love and time to her.

Diamond

Eight-year-old Diamond is a gentle girl who would give anything to be in an easy-going home with someone special who will take her on leisurely walks and activities and smother her with hugs! She adores sitting in the shady grass just being loved on.

The poor girl was rescued from a kill shelter in California and, even though she’s safe now, she’s not a fan of being kenneled and would much prefer sitting on a couch with her humans all day watching soap operas.

Diamond enjoys the company of other dogs and will gently remind those that are too playful to be respectful of her age. She’s not a grumpy old lady though–if you ever want a laugh, just get a toy out and watch her play. She steals everyone’s hearts. She has lots of love in her and just needs someone to share it with.

Biggie, Champ & Natasha

Meet the puppies! Biggie, Champ, and Natasha are feisty girls who love romping with their sisters, playing with toys, and showing off for people. These adorable pups will be available for adoption on September 1st. Meanwhile, come check them out at That BAM Place.

Roxy

Roxy needs a playmate!  This girl is so affectionate, full of life, and smart, smart, smart!!! She wants nothing more than get outside and play ball, tug, you name it–she just wants to play!

Unfortunately, life changes didn’t allow pretty Roxy to stay with her family and she has to be re-homed. She’s a wonderful girl (did we mention that she’s smart?) who needs someone with an active lifestyle and time to help develop her mind. She would probably be a great agility dog, frisbee fetcher, and/or running/hiking partner. And once she’s worn you out, she’ll snuggle up to you on the couch for cuddles and cookies. (Exercise and cookies- you can’t lose!) And can you imagine gazing into those gorgeous eyes every day?

Cameron and Olivia

Cameron is a sweet, spotted boy. He’s not shy with people he trusts. He enjoys escaping his enclosure and running and the rescue any chance he gets. Olivia is a bit more cautious with humans but warms up very quickly. She’s a sweet girl who does well with attention.  This sweet pair is looking for their forever family.

Kodey and Savannah

Kodey is also a sweet spotted boy. He’s excited and curious about people. He likes his pets. Savannah is as sassy as she is fluffy. This tiny thing loves to thump at anyone who gives her attention. She likes to act like she’s brave and tough, but really she is just afraid and needs more love. It’s time for them to go to their forever home.

Emma and Alex

Emma and Alex are both young rabbits. They both have lots of energy and need a home that will let them get lots of playtime. Emma is loving and curious. She is excited when you come to their enclosure, especially if you have treats. Alex is nervous with people.  He is so sweet but scared of people. He has come a long way since bonding with Emma, but he will need a patient family to earn his trust.

Journee and Jorey

This duo is mom and dad to Emma, as well as a few other bunnies in the rescue. They were rescued together. Journee was pregnant when they came to us. Journee has beautiful black markings on her face. They are both very sweet and like attention. If you’re handing out treats, they are the first to notice. Come meet these amazing bunnies today!
