Squeaky

Squeaky is a gorgeous black and white cat who is looking for a wonderful home. He is talkative and friendly with people he knows, but he is an introvert and takes his time letting people in. Kodasouthern utah adoptable pets Koda

Sweet Koda is a quirky kitty at times, but that’s what makes him interesting. Koda definitely knows what he likes, and what makes him a bit unsure. He loves wand toys, treats, running through tunnels, sitting on shoulders, and giving hugs. He is a bit unsettled by loud noises and significant changes in his environment or his routine. He thrives when he is shown lots of affection and interaction, so a home where his owner can provide that to him would be a dream come true for this great boy. Koda is a smart, alert, curious cat and would be a perfect companion for someone willing to show him on a daily basis just how wonderful he is.

Abigail

Meet Abigail! Abigail is a petite lady with beautiful swirls of black on her brown coat. She enjoys lounging around, dressing up, laying on your lap, and hanging out with her cat roommate. One of her favorite things to do is hide up high or in a hidey bed and watch you as you go about your day! If you are looking for a quiet, loving companion Abigail is waiting for you!

Mello

Mello was found as a stray. He is a little shy but loves to be with people, play with toys, go for walks, and can even dance on his hind legs. He will need housetraining. He does know sit, shake, wait. His adoption fee is $60.

Pablo

Pablo can be a bit sensitive and it may take time for him to settle into your home with you. He lived outside so will need house training. He has energy to spare and would benefit from a home where he gets enough exercise and mental stimulation. He would do best with older children who can respect his boundaries and be patient with him while he settles in. With patience and lots of treats, of course, Pablo will open up and become a great addition to the group. He’ll need daily exercise and interactive playtime with you. He is a smart boy and learns quickly. Like all puppies, he needs practice with manners and clear boundaries so that he can feel safe. His adoption fee is $60.

He can be adopted now and leave after his vet for neuter and rabies scheduled for Feb 23.

Bandit

Bandit was found as a stray. He was very ill when he came to the shelter and needed lots of care and medication. He is now ready to find his forever home. Bandit loves being with people and can be a little shy. He will need a home with a securely fenced yard as he can jump fences and go exploring. He does well on a leash. His adoption fee is $60.

Leah

Leah is 2 years old. Leah has spent most of her life outdoors. She will need basic training and house training. She is friendly and full of energy. She will make a wonderful family pet. Leah is a high-energy pet. Her adoption fee is $60.

Monty

Monty’s owner passed away and he ended up at the shelter. He is adjusting well but still will hide under the covers and usually comes for attention. Beautiful facial markings. This quiet boy enjoys watching out the windows and being petted. His adoption fee is $40.

Sugar

Sugar is a bit of a big girl, but it’s nothing a proper diet won’t fix! I say she’s as big as she is because of the size of her heart. Quite the talker, she’s never short on meows and always big on purrs! She’s content lying around in the presence of someone she knows will love and take good  Do to quite a few changes in her life she was having difficulty adjusting to the last home she was in and ended up at the shelter. She would do best as an only cat with all the love and attention on her. Her adoption fee is $40.

Maple

Maple is a wonderful dog with a beautiful personality looking for her perfect family. She is amazing with kids and other dogs and wants to play with cats (even though the cat in her foster home wants none of that). She is smart and a super quick learner. It only took ten minutes to learn sit, paw, and down. She’s potty trained, crate trained, and rarely barks. She loves her toys and belly rubs and is a pro at playing fetch.

Her foster home has a special needs child and Maple has taken on a nanny dog role making sure the child is ok and comforted when needed. She is truly an amazing special dog. Maple is the family dog people would be lucky to have in their home. She is fully grown (38 lbs) at fifteen months, is spayed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated.

Meet and greets are welcome as Maple loves being around new people, so if you’re interested, submit a BAM Adoption Application, and if approved, we’ll contact you as soon as possible to arrange a get-together.

Roxy

Roxy needs a playmate!  This girl is so affectionate, full of life, and smart, smart, smart!!! She wants nothing more than get outside and play ball, tug, you name it–she just wants to play!

Unfortunately, life changes didn’t allow pretty Roxy to stay with her family and she has to be re-homed. She’s a wonderful girl (did we mention that she’s smart?) who needs someone with an active lifestyle and time to help develop her mind. She would probably be a great agility dog, frisbee fetcher, and/or running/hiking partner. And once she’s worn you out, she’ll snuggle up to you on the couch for cuddles and cookies. (Exercise and cookies- you can’t lose!) And can you imagine gazing into those gorgeous eyes every day?

Lady

Still a baby herself at only 1-1/2 years old, sweet Lady has been the best mom ever since she came to BAM with seven two-day-old puppies. Her babies are weaned and going to new homes and now Lady is looking for her very own person to play with and spoil her rotten.

Lady is a gentle, smart, good-natured goofball who loves to play with people and other dogs (she does not, however, care for cats). She’s the perfect companion! Once she’s been spayed, the adoption will be final and this amazing girl will be yours forever.

Lady’s Puppies

Meet some of Lady’s wonderful puppies Tramp, Mochi, and Scooter. If you’re interested in any of the puppies, stop by that BAM Place Tuesday–Saturday between 9 am–5 pm, or submit a BAM Adoption Application and, if approved, we’ll contact you as soon as possible to arrange a meeting. If you don’t hear back within 7 days, please text us at (435) 773-5209.

Poppy

Poppy is a complicated girl who is both sweet and sassy. She would prefer a quiet home without small children where she is the only dog or maybe has one other small dog friend. Poppy is housebroken using a doggy door and gets along with her foster’s small dogs but is a loner.

Poppy is approximately 7-8 years old. She was rescued from a life on the streets of Phoenix and is still cautious, exhibiting some defensive behaviors but really wants to trust and love! She asks for belly rubs and neck pets but these must be given on her terms.

Poppy can be picked up and held if needed but she is not yet a lap dog. She fears having a leash or harness put on her but loves her walks! Because Poppy is HIGHLY treat motivated, patient training will likely be successful. She will require an experienced adopter with a slow, steady training protocol, lots and lots of repetition, and lots and lots of treats to help her overcome her fear and aggressive behavior.

Stella

For pitties sake! Really–no interest in this beautiful girl? How can that be? Stella is a wonderful, kind girl looking for love. At five to six years, she had very likely never experienced it before coming to BAM and every day she shows us her gratitude and affection. She’s finally figured out that people want to love her…and we all do! Stella e is so ready to start a new chapter in her life now with nothing but love in store.

Stella was so gentle when she played with her puppies but now they’ve all gone to their forever homes leaving her alone and lonely. She really wants someone to hold her close and play tug with her.

Gentle as she is, she had occasionally acted very protective of her puppies when other dogs or kids were nearby. For that reason, she may do best as a solo dog with no kids (or maybe ok with older, respectful kids), and, we assume, no cats.
