Barley

Barley is an outgoing little fluff ball who loves to go on adventures. His short little legs and his age have never held him back! He’s always up for romping around, rolling on his back, and simply having a grand ol’ time. Barley enjoys the company of his people friends and does very well after some relationship building. He would need his potential new family to come to meet him at Dogtown to make sure it is a good fit. A couple of his all-time favorite things to do are playing fetch with a rotation of squeaky toys and get pets when he’s comfortable and ready.

Pulasouthern utah adoptable pets Pula

Pula is amazing. Her cuddles are comforting, her smile is stunning, her tail is thumping, her wiggle is wonderful. She is happy to hang out at home or go wander about on a walk. For some reason, Pula is reluctant to show how remarkable she is on her first encounter with new people and would need some slight management when meeting visitors in the home. She is crate trained, knows lots of tricks and once you meet her you’ll wonder how you ever lived without her.

Mickeysouthern utah adoptable pets Mickey

Mickey is as fun-hearted as the character he’s named after. He loves cuddling and long walks with his favorite people. Mickey takes a little bit to warm up but once he does he will be your best friend for life. He enjoys playing with toys and getting lots of treats.
He is very picky with other dogs and would prefer to be your one and only bud. He’s extremely loyal and will do anything for his people. Come out and meet Mickey and see if he’s the guy for you!

Jelly Beansouthern utah adoptable pets JellyBean

Jelly Bean is a very active, full-of-life, curious girl. She has very minor Cerebellar hypoplasia (CH), but can jump and run around like any other cat. She is also deaf and has been learning “clicker” training, done with a light instead of a clicker. She has learned to “high five” and seems to really enjoy sessions where the bond between her caregivers is strengthened.

Jelly Bean would definitely prefer to be an only cat and would probably do best with adults and older children. A perfect home would be with someone who is willing to spend the time to keep Jelly Bean’s mind engaged. She is very smart and taking part in activities that focus her energy seems to be something she truly enjoys and responds to.

Jelly Bean is a terrific girl who will bring so much to a home, and with the right adopter, she will certainly flourish! If you’re looking for a fun, unique cat who can high-five her way into your heart, please stop by or ask about Jelly Bean soon – she is waiting!

Jaylin

Let Jaylin and her beautiful half-gray half-tan face melt your heart! She is a sweet retired mama cat who is looking for you to give her all of the attention she deserves. She is outgoing, friendly, and playful. She loves scratches and loves treats even

Cricket

Cricket suffered injuries after getting tangled in some kind of fence. His owners surrendered him as they could not provide the necessary care. He’s healed nicely and is anxious to be back in a home. Cricket appears to be housebroken as his kennel is clean between volunteer shifts. He’s playful, energetic, and sweet as can be. He does well with basic commands and walking on a leash but will need additional training. Cricket would love a family who will play with him and take him on hikes. This breed, Border Collie & Australian Shepherd mix, likes to be active.  Cricket is house-trained and would be good in a home with other dogs or alone.

Sammy

Sammy is a 1 ½-year-old Pit Bull Terrier and Labrador Retriever mix. She is very sweet and playful. Sammy will need some training. She is eager to please. She is hoping an adventurous family adopts her.  Could that be your family?

Archie

Archie is a young red heeler/cattle dog. He is very loving and playful and enjoys playing with other dogs and people. He’s a good walker and will need someone to patiently train him. Archie needs an active family as his breed is one that needs play and exercise.

Junior

Junior was rescued from a field with his siblings and mama. He’s a little shy but very playful. Junior is bonded with his sister Duck Duck. He can’t wait to find his purr-fect home. At this age, we recommend adopting bonded pairs. Junior is house-trained and would be good in a home with other cats.

Duck Duck

Duck Duck was rescued from a field with her siblings and mama. She’s a little shy but very playful. Duck Duck is bonded with her brother Junior. They like to wrestle and romp. She’s anxious to be tapped for adoption. At this age we recommend adopting bonded pairs. Duck Duck is house-trained and would be good in a home with other cats.

Rocket

Rocket will propel himself into your heart. He’s playful and loves attention. He was protective of his sister Eva who was a little shy.  We hope it’s not going to be a long, long time until he finds his purr-fect home. Rocket is house-trained and would be good in a home with other cats or alone.

Coco

Tiny Coco is such a little miracle girl and she’s sweet as her name suggests … like an itty bitty chocolate kiss! She is very smart, loves to snuggle, and really enjoys a good tummy tickle. She’s playful, gets along with other respectful dogs, and, for some reason, adores car rides. Also, Coco doesn’t seem to mind being dressed up like a baby doll. She’s perfect!

When she came to BAM at the beginning of July, Coco was malnourished with rotten teeth. She had little hair, had dry skin, and had a very scary lump on her chest. We couldn’t believe she survived the night but this girl is a fighter! Since then, she’s had her lump removed and a dental, her skin is clear and she has the softest coat. She’s doing great now!

Even though Coco still suffers from issues due to past neglect (blind due to cataracts with dry eyes and diabetic requiring daily insulin injections), nothing slows her down! She has a good appetite, good hearing, and has a great nose! She always knows when her friends come to visit.

If you’re interested in Coco and can commit to fulfilling her medical needs, (giving injections isn’t as scary as it sounds), submit a BAM Adoption Application, and, if approved, we’ll contact you as soon as possible to arrange a meeting. If you don’t hear back within 7 days, please text us at 435-773-5209.

Roxy

Roxy needs a playmate!  This girl is so affectionate, full of life, and smart, smart, smart!!! She wants nothing more than get outside and play ball, tug, you name it–she just wants to play!

Unfortunately, life changes didn’t allow pretty Roxy to stay with her family and she has to be re-homed. She’s a wonderful girl (did we mention that she’s smart?) who needs someone with an active lifestyle and time to help develop her mind. She would probably be a great agility dog, frisbee fetcher, and/or running/hiking partner. And once she’s worn you out, she’ll snuggle up to you on the couch for cuddles and cookies. (Exercise and cookies- you can’t lose!) And can you imagine gazing into those gorgeous eyes every day?

Sherlock and Koko

Sherlock and Koko are adorable, young, energetic little (7 pounds) packages of love!
We think they’ll be least traumatized if adopted together!

Sherlock is a cuddle bug and the less adventurous of the 2 dogs. He’ll follow you everywhere but also loves to play with toys and, especially, with his favorite playmate, Koko (although, as with his foster, both dogs will accept other littles into their playgroup). Sherlock and Koko love mealtime, chews, and treats and are fast eaters (so a slow feeder or separate feeding area may be needed). Both pups are very comfortable in their crate (will frequently go into it voluntarily just to chill) and can be crated together for short periods. Sherlock and Koko are good walkers and ride well in a car. Both dogs are housebroken but Sherlock does mark, a behavior which should disappear over time since he is now neutered. Sherlock and Koko are good with other small dogs and cats but large dogs or small children are not recommended.

Mikko

Mikko” (pronounced Mick O), Hebrew for God, is a lovely gentleman who enjoys short walks and hanging out with other dogs, especially little ones. He’s an absolute lover boy and bonds quickly with everyone

Mikko will be having a mass removed from his leg soon and will be available for adoption once it’s done. He’s neutered, microchipped, housebroken, up-to-date on his vaccinations, and ready to move to his new forever home.

Barrysouther utah adoptable pets BARRY

Barry is not a lap dog (unless he decides he wants to be). Instead, he is a grumpy boy who came to us with a broken pelvis which still causes him pain. In the year he’s been with us, Barry also suffered seizures and kidney stones. He’s on a special diet and medication for all of these things, but he’s still a grump. And we all still love him!

Since being in our care, the poor guy has had to deal with puppies and big dogs who don’t understand why he doesn’t want to roughhouse. He does get along with dogs who aren’t in his face and likes to fetch a ball as long as you don’t try to take it back from him (Barry’s rules).

Ornery as he is, Barry is kind of our mascot and we want the old guy to catch a break and live out the remainder of his life with someone he can find solace in.

Barry loves to rub his back on the floor and wiggle and loves to have belly rubs by a person of his choosing. He enjoys certain members of our team while others simply aren’t his cup of tea.

Tango

Tango is a one-year-old purebred Miniature Pinscher. He’s a little shy until he gets to know you but then is very friendly, cuddly, and playful. He’ll even sleep with you! He loves other dogs, was raised with a large boxer, and is comfortable with the 3 big dogs at his foster parent’s house. He’s even cat-friendly! He walks well and enjoys car rides.

Tango is vaccinated, neutered, and housebroken. He’s a bit overweight and will benefit from being kept on a healthy regimen of exercise and appropriate food.

Stella

For pitties sake! Really–no interest in this beautiful girl? How can that be? Stella is a wonderful, kind girl looking for love. At five to six years, she had very likely never experienced it before coming to BAM and every day she shows us her gratitude and affection. She’s finally figured out that people want to love her…and we all do! Stella e is so ready to start a new chapter in her life now with nothing but love in store.

Stella was so gentle when she played with her puppies but now they’ve all gone to their forever homes leaving her alone and lonely. She really wants someone to hold her close and play tug with her.

Gentle as she is, she had occasionally acted very protective of her puppies when other dogs or kids were nearby. For that reason, she may do best as a solo dog with no kids (or maybe ok with older, respectful kids), and, we assume, no cats.
