Wellington

All Wellington wants in life is someone to give him head scratches, snuggles, and belly rubs. He hopes you don’t mind a few doggy kisses too! Wellington enjoys casual strolls and can even walk next to a bike! He is easy to walk on a leash, especially with a front clip harness. He doesn’t need much exercise, just lots of love! He doesn’t have much interest in toys but he will gladly sleep in your bed if you’ll let him. He doesn’t care much about your space, so a house or apartment living would suit him just fine. If you’re looking for a buddy to cuddle on the couch and shower you with unconditional love, Wellington is your dog!

If you are interested in meeting Wellington fill out our Dog Adoption Survey and our team will reach out to you!

Skitter

Skitter is a good ol’ country hound with a big smile on his face and a song in his heart! He actually loves to sing that song whenever he gets a chance especially when he is following an interesting scent on a walk. This friendly boy enjoys sticking his head out the window on a car ride or would be just as happy going on a long hike! He meets dogs nicely but like a typical hound, he enjoys using his voice. Skitter enjoys using his amazing sense of smell for nosework or other fun games. And to relax, Skitter likes to snuggle up on a comfy bed or couch with a friend. Ask us about Skitter today to learn more!

Mookie

Mookie is a very sweet and adorable giant. She loves to play, go for walks, and lay on the couch with her head resting in your lap. She will make you smile with her goofy galloping around and you will want to squeeze her beautiful cheeks. When you meet her, you are sure to fall in love.

Joey

Joey is a nice kitten who plays well with the others, he does gravitate to the older cats and lays with them. He is a bit on the timid side, but not shy, he will patiently wait his turn for pets and to interact with people, loves to lay in your lap, he has a calm play style. A quiet kitty.

Laranja

Hey, I’m Laranja! I’m a really chill guy who loves all people. I’m also alright with dogs, as long as they give me my space while I get to know them. I would probably be happiest in a home with no other cats. Come on and meet this handsome little guy, or fill out an application online today!

Bonfire

Say hello to your new best friend Bonfire! He is a sweetheart who wants to cuddle with you until the end of time. He is gentle, quiet, gets along well with other cats, and wants to spend his life hanging out with you on your lap, in your bed, and everywhere with you. Cricket

Cricket suffered injuries after getting tangled in some kind of fence. His owners surrendered him as they could not provide the necessary care. He’s healed nicely and is anxious to be back in a home. Cricket appears to be housebroken as his kennel is clean between volunteer shifts. He’s playful, energetic, and sweet as can be. He does well with basic commands and walking on a leash but will need additional training. Cricket would love a family who will play with him and take him on hikes. This breed, Border Collie & Australian Shepherd mix, likes to be active.  Cricket is house-trained and would be good in a home with other dogs or alone.

Jocko

We have puppies! Jocko is one of 9 puppies rescued. He is playful, adorable, cuddly, and can’t wait to be in a loving home. Jocko will need training as he is just 8 weeks old. He is currently being vetted but we are accepting adoption applications to get pre-approved.

Eddie

We have puppies! Eddie is one of 9 puppies rescued. He is playful, adorable, cuddly, and can’t wait to be in a loving home. Eddie will need training as he is just 8 weeks old. He is currently being vetted but we are accepting adoption applications to get pre-approved.

Ms. Spicy Purrito

This adorable 9-week-old fur ball, Spicy Purrito, needs a home to show her life can be good. She witnessed her sibling being run over and was also clipped by the car. Luckily, she did not suffer any significant injury. She’s becoming more trusting of humans and has become very bonded with another orphan kitten, Norm. At this age, she should be adopted with another kitten.  And Ms. Spicy is house-trained.

Norman Bates “Norm”

Norm was rescued from the clutches of a coyote. He suffered puncture wounds to his hind leg and has fully recovered. Norm is ready and longing to be in a loving and welcoming home. He would do well with another kitten – Spicy Purrito or Jesup would make great mates for Norm. They will all bring you CHEERs!  And Norm is house-trained.

Jesup

Jesup has had a very sad start to life. His mother was poisoned with antifreeze. His brother also died of the same poisoning. Luckily, he avoided it. Now Jesup needs to be in a loving home. He loves to nuzzle under your neck and purr away. Jesup is playful and due to his young age, it would be best he had a playmate. He’s bonding with two other orphan kittens, Spicy Purrito and Norm. And Jesup is house-trained.

She needs a home with just a few steps and a big yard where she can run and play. She can be anxious and worried so it would be good if someone is home with her. NOT HOUSETRAINED. Ruby’s Puppies

Meet the puppies! Nine beautiful puppies were born to Ruby right here at That BAM Place. Available LOCALLY ONLY starting November 14 as foster to adopt (once spayed/neutered, the adoption will be complete), these puppies are cuddly and energetic, and adorable, and come in a wide variety of colors and markings.

Sherlock and Koko

Sherlock and Koko are adorable, young, energetic little (7 pounds) packages of love!
We think they’ll be least traumatized if adopted together!

Sherlock is a cuddle bug and the less adventurous of the 2 dogs. He’ll follow you everywhere but also loves to play with toys and, especially, with his favorite playmate, Koko (although, as with his foster, both dogs will accept other littles into their playgroup). Sherlock and Koko love mealtime, chews, and treats and are fast eaters (so a slow feeder or separate feeding area may be needed). Both pups are very comfortable in their crate (will frequently go into it voluntarily just to chill) and can be crated together for short periods. Sherlock and Koko are good walkers and ride well in a car. Both dogs are housebroken but Sherlock does mark, a behavior which should disappear over time since he is now neutered. Sherlock and Koko are good with other small dogs and cats but large dogs or small children are not recommended.

Cassia

Cassia (pronounced ka-shee-uh) is a cinnamon spice that fits her coloring and personality. She is adventurous and brave and, most of all, determined! Even for being so little, she still looks at two flights of stairs as a challenge and she’s growing to love the doggie pool. She plays hard, then gives a sweet look saying she’s ready to curl up on your chest and fall asleep. She loves to be snuggled.

Cassia is a puppy and loves to chew. Be prepared to keep toys and turkey tendons around if you value your shoes!

Cassia is available LOCALLY ONLY as a foster to adopt. Once she has been spayed, the adoption will be completed and she’ll be all yours! Meanwhile, we’re already accepting applications.

Mocha

If you’re looking for a puppy but don’t want to deal with all the “puppy-ness” and “puppy-mess,” look no further! Adopt Mocha and get the best of both worlds! He’s still just a baby (under a year old) but 100% potty trained and crate trained! He’s an expert on leash, a perfect gentleman in the car, and loves every person and dog he’s ever met.

Mocha is a mixed breed pup who looks like a chocolate lab, shepherd, Staffordshire mix but who really knows!? His ears have a life of their own and get a bit goofier every day!

Mocha is very affectionate and eager to please. He’s also very high-energy and would love to live with another dog who likes to play. He would be the perfect jogging or hiking companion, too!

Mocha is being fostered in Kanab but can travel to meet you if you’re interested in adopting. Just submit a BAM Adoption Application and, if approved, we’ll contact you as soon as possible to arrange a meeting. If you don’t hear back within 7 days, please text us at 435-773-5209.

Tango

Tango is a one-year-old purebred Miniature Pinscher. He’s a little shy until he gets to know you but then is very friendly, cuddly, and playful. He’ll even sleep with you! He loves other dogs, was raised with a large boxer and is comfortable with the 3 big dogs at his foster parent’s house. He’s even cat-friendly! He walks well and enjoys car rides.

Tango is vaccinated, neutered, and housebroken. He’s a bit overweight and will benefit from being kept on a healthy regimen of exercise and appropriate food.

Stella

For pitties sake! Really–no interest in this beautiful girl? How can that be? Stella is a wonderful, kind girl looking for love. At five to six years, she had very likely never experienced it before coming to BAM and every day she shows us her gratitude and affection. She’s finally figured out that people want to love her…and we all do! Stella e is so ready to start a new chapter in her life now with nothing but love in store.

Stella was so gentle when she played with her puppies but now they’ve all gone to their forever homes leaving her alone and lonely. She really wants someone to hold her close and play tug with her.

Gentle as she is, she had occasionally acted very protective of her puppies when other dogs or kids were nearby. For that reason, she may do best as a solo dog with no kids (or maybe ok with older, respectful kids), and, we assume, no cats.
