If you have questions about a specific pet or the adoption process, please email adoptions@bestfriends.org. Calvin

This real-life cartoon character is ready to make his way into your home! Calvin is a big guy with an even bigger personality to match. He loves toys and spending time cuddling soft blankets while out on car rides. His favorite pastimes at the sanctuary are lounging in the shade and romping around the dog park – he even likes to go for a dip in the pool! Are you ready to add a little animation and a whole lot of love to your life?

Buzz Lightyear

Just like Buzz Lightyear, this boy is out of this world! Like all good space rangers, Buzz is well-trained and follows commands such as sit, down, paw, and speak! (Listen carefully and you might hear him sing “You’ve Got a Friend in Me”).

While walking on leash, he stops and waits for your cue to cross the street. As a top-notch astronaut, Buzz would love to continue his training to keep his skills sharp. He enjoys exploring faraway galaxies but will settle for keeping things local with you. If you forgot your spacesuit, Buzz is happy to hop in your car to get around.

He needs to be the only space ranger in the home, but Buzz will always watch your back and drop his macho act enough to let you sneak in a few face kisses. If you are looking for a hero, this is your guy! Buzz hopes you will be the one to take him home, to infinity and beyond!

Itty Bitty

Itty Bitty is a sweet, shy girl. She raised all her puppies and was a wonderful mama. Now she is ready for a home of her own. She learned to walk on leash and enjoys relaxing in cozy beds. While Itty Bitty can be nervous and startle easily, she’s learning to build trust, and time in her foster home is really helping her. If you’d like to meet Itty Bitty, please fill out an adoption application.

Chance

Chance is a handsome guy who wants to find a home where he can live on his own terms. He wants nothing better than to keep the mice and other rodents away. All he asks for is a warm bed and food and he’ll keep your place rodent-free.

Charles

Are you looking to up your daily dose of laughter, cuddles, and “Aww” moments? Overrun with too many ping pong balls and no one to play with them? Charles is here to help! He is looking for a family to play with, purr at, snuggle with, and take up all their phone storage with pictures of his adorable face.
Charles is ready to light up your home and enliven your life. He cannot wait to meet you!

Bobble

Bobble takes pride in his handsome appearance and always keeps his white coat shiny and soft. He loves to lounge in the sun and play. If something catches his eye, he will pounce on it. His favorite is a string toy that he can pounce on it from a distance. He’s an independent boy who enjoys playing chase with the other cats. His favorite thing to do is to run full speed around the house. He has come a long way in learning to trust people and has found that people = treats.

I am the sweetest, friendliest, most gentle cat ever, I’ll sweetly greet you with head bumps and you can pet me endlessly. I can’t wait to have my own cat toys to play with and a sunny spot for naps. Sedona

I’m an independent and gentle girl. I don’t need much to make me happy, just a cozy place to call home and someone to tell me what a lovely girl I am. I’ve never been able to play with cat toys and am looking forward to having toys. I am house-trained and would be good in a home with other cats or alone. I was rescued from a hoarding situation and didn’t have much. Are you the one to pamper me?

Toby

Hi, I’m Toby. I was found abandoned. Sometimes I tend to get jealous when someone else is getting attention so a home where I could be the focus would allow me to flourish. I was a little reserved and to be honest, scared the first week I was here. Now that I know it’s safe here I have become much more social. Let me reassure you, I would be very happy to meet you and come to live with you. I am going to need lots of exercise and I am a little high energy when I first get outside but then I calm down and really soak up the lovin’ & attention that I am given. Ya know, a guy can’t pass up attention. I sure am ready for my life to look up again and I can’t wait to find a family that I can rely on and love forever. My adoption fee is $60.

Sully

Sully loves attention. When there’s a group of people he’ll just trot around in hopes of getting pet. This very friendly boy certainly knows how to work the room with that big grin.  He wants to please. Sully loves companionship and would be a great dog for a loving family willing to spend the time making him a part of their life. This independent and confident fella is doing well on a leash and enjoys taking an easygoing stroll. He would do best with a semi-experienced owner in a moderately active household (teens and older, please). His adoption fee is $60.

Dobie

Dobie is a gentle puppy who loves everyone and everything. He is a very affectionate and playful pup. He is curious about everything and wants to know it all. He is very independent and athletic at such a young age maybe 5 months. We don’t know his exact age but he is definitely a young puppy. He sure loves kisses and snugs. He knows sit, shake, fetch, does well on a leash, He is eager to learn. This little guy is ready for a loving home so he can make it his forever home!!  Loves people and other dogs. He has a long scar on his back from healed unknown injury. His adoption fee is $60.

Roscoe

Roscoe is three months old He is loving and playful, and all he wants is company. He is a puppy and will need lots of love and patience, but remember that the return on your investment will be unequaled! He is such a handsome fellow! He will need to go to the vet in the coming month to get neutered and get his rabies vaccine, but those items will be covered in your adoption. This guy is ready to make you happy for the rest of his life! His adoption fee is $60.

Naveah and Nitelite

Naveah
Nitelite

Bonded pair Naveah (6 years old) and Nitelite (4 ½ years old) are mother and daughter looking for a home together! These beautiful ladies were surrendered by their owner due to a change in life circumstances, and they’re anxious to get back to a home environment. Sweet, but shy, we may take a little time to warm up at first, mostly because we’re not sure why we’re here. But once we’re comfortable with you, we turn on the charm. We’re hoping for a quiet home where we can sit on the sofa with you and warm up your bed. Spend some time with us so you can see how great we truly are.  WE WOULD LIKE THEM ADOPTED TOGETHER IF POSSIBLE BUT WILL LET THEM FIND SINGLE HOMES IF NECESSARY. Their adoption fees are $40.

Quincy

Although she isn’t doing the full husky howl yet, baby Quincy is already very talkative and she has plenty of important things to say.

Born May 31st, she’s almost … but not quite … house trained. She loves water and would be so happy with an adopter who doesn’t mind snuggling a wet girl! She has fun with dogs of all sizes and even gets along with cats!

Quincy’s going to make a great family dog but her puppy teeth are razor sharp and she likes to bite so she should be fully supervised around kids. She needs lots of chew toys until those big-girl teeth come in.

Quincy will be available on August 4th after her second round of puppy shots but will need to come back to That BAM Place one more time for round three.

Ozzie

Ozzie is a sweet, playful girl who is ready for any adventure. At 3-1/2 years old, she has a lot of energy and loves to play. This girl can occupy herself alone outside but also loves to romp with kids and other dogs. She will always be happy to stop to give you kisses and follow you around admirably.

Ozzie does have a strong prey drive, however, so cats and chickens are not going to be safe with her. She’s an amazing dog that someone gave up on too soon. She is ready for a parent or family to give their love and time to her.

Diamond

Eight-year-old Diamond is a gentle girl who would give anything to be in an easy-going home with someone special who will take her on leisurely walks and activities and smother her with hugs! She adores sitting in the shady grass just being loved on.

The poor girl was rescued from a kill shelter in California and, even though she’s safe now, she’s not a fan of being kenneled and would much prefer sitting on a couch with her humans all day watching soap operas.

Diamond enjoys the company of other dogs and will gently remind those that are too playful to be respectful of her age. She’s not a grumpy old lady though–if you ever want a laugh, just get a toy out and watch her play. She steals everyone’s hearts. She has lots of love in her and just needs someone to share it with.

Biggie, Champ & Natasha

Meet the puppies! Biggie, Champ, and Natasha are feisty girls who love romping with their sisters, playing with toys, and showing off for people. These adorable pups will be available for adoption on September 1st. Meanwhile, come check them out at That BAM Place.

Roxy

Roxy needs a playmate!  This girl is so affectionate, full of life, and smart, smart, smart!!! She wants nothing more than get outside and play ball, tug, you name it–she just wants to play!

Unfortunately, life changes didn’t allow pretty Roxy to stay with her family and she has to be re-homed. She’s a wonderful girl (did we mention that she’s smart?) who needs someone with an active lifestyle and time to help develop her mind. She would probably be a great agility dog, frisbee fetcher, and/or running/hiking partner. And once she’s worn you out, she’ll snuggle up to you on the couch for cuddles and cookies. (Exercise and cookies- you can’t lose!) And can you imagine gazing into those gorgeous eyes every day?
