Southern Utah Art Guild Announces February Events
You’re cordially invited to two art events in February at the Red Cliff Gallery and the Arrowhead Gallery.
Red Cliff Gallery will be hosting a “My Favorite Things” art show featuring about 60 local artists. In addition, the show will include a “Traveler’s Wall” with an artwork theme of Southern Utah. To kick off their seven-week show, there is an artists’ reception on Friday, February 9, from 6 – 8 PM. Come meet the artists and enjoy some refreshments. The show will run from February 10 through March 28 at the Red Cliff Gallery, 220 N. 200 E. in St. George. Open Monday through Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM, and Saturday, 12 – 4 PM.
Arrowhead Gallery will feature the artworks of Mary Jane Grow for the month of February. There will be an artist reception on Saturday, February 10, from 6 – 8 PM. Mary Jane works in watercolor and oil painting. She is a Utah native and enjoys painting northern scenes and southern Utah scenes. Her work is in galleries and private collections in the USA and Europe. Mary Jane’s website is mjgrow.com. Arrowhead Gallery is open Tuesday through Thursday, 11 AM – 6 PM, and Friday and Saturday, 11 AM – 8 PM, at 68 E. Tabernacle in St. George.

The Southern Utah Art Guild offers many opportunities to the artist, such as free art classes and workshops, free vendor events, the opportunity to participate in many of the Red Cliff Gallery art shows, and the opportunity to be a permanent artist in the Arrowhead Gallery.
