Communities across Southern Utah are joining the national “No Kings!” Day of Action this Saturday, June 14, with events planned in St. George, Kanab, and nearby towns like Moab and Boulder. The movement, part of a grassroots network called the 50501 campaign, aims to celebrate democracy, reject authoritarianism, and highlight local voices rising in unity across all 50 states.

Here’s what’s happening locally:
Kanab
Time: 10:00 AM
Location: Jacob Hamblin Park (566 N 100 E, Kanab, UT 84741)
Organizers invite locals to bring signs, flags, and friends to this peaceful rally in the park, where speakers and community members will gather to affirm shared values of liberty, justice, and local leadership.
St. George
Time: 2:00 PM
Location: Vernon Worthen Park
This afternoon gathering will feature speeches, sign waving, and family-friendly activities focused on civic engagement and standing up for community values.
Nearby Events
Moab: 9:15 AM at Swanny City Park
Boulder: 11:00 AM at Boulder Town Park

The No Kings! movement encourages events to be nonviolent, inclusive, and welcoming to all. Attendees are asked to leave weapons at home, bring water and sun protection, and prepare for a day that’s equal parts rally and reunion.
Organizers say this weekend’s coordinated effort may be the largest single-day civic demonstration of the year, with events in over 1,500 cities. But instead of a single spotlight, the idea is for everyday people in small towns and big cities alike to reclaim their own streets and make their voices heard.
Whether you’re a longtime activist or just want to meet like-minded neighbors, Saturday is shaping up to be a powerful, positive moment in Southern Utah. These leftist boomer hags need a vbied to calm them down. I hope they find one in one of these cities somewhere.
This guy is so mad he can’t even make sense. Maybe some liberal education could do you some good buddy.
Keep crying and losing because your slaves are getting deported.
they need a lobotomy but they were unable to locate a brain.
Haha yesss!
So Moab, Kanab, and Boulder were all smart enough to hold their event in the cooler hours of the morning. But St. George, the hottest location of them all choose to stage the event during the hottest time of day. Sometime explain that logic to me please. I would attend if it was in the morning.
It’s our way of saying “Go to Hell!”
And you’re the tour guide to hell. No thanks. Too many pink haired kiddie gromers there.
Leftist logic is an oxymoron. They’re morons without the oxy.
That’s because it’s ran by people that don’t live here, pretending that we care.
Bingo
Thank goodness we don’t have to put up with thus in Cedar!
The majority of these people don’t even know what they are protesting.
Mental illness on full display. These people don’t even know what they are protesting. They just think orange man bad
About half of leftists have had therapy for mental illness. That means the rest of them are out there running around untreated…at these idiot parades
Agree
Pathetic unhappy negative libs with too much time on their hands. Hard to understand the lack of logic in their delusional minds.
Yep, they are a cancer in society and should be exiled.
Keep crying and losing and have another Bud Lite.
All these comments are tone deaf.
We have a “No Kings” holiday every year…on July 4. We call it Independence Day. Lots of us had to put up with King Obama and Lord Biden. Excuse the rest of us that want to get back to We The People.
I don’t have anything better to do. I don’t have a real life just a bunch of Karen’s running around. Don’t even know what they’re protesting about . They should be protesting against the ones that hijacked their party, but they’re too stupid to see it anyway God bless the USA and God bless President Donald Trump, who I voted for three times and seeing this makes me want to vote for him a fourth time. I think everybody in these towns needs to protest themselves against this.
The British had the right idea with Australia. We need to do the same now and find an island to put these vermin on.
So many of the comments here show the delusions of left and right. Reject partisanship, tear down the Democrats and Republicans who are all just elites looking for control and power. Dump Trump, FJB!
Why are all these photos (in the story) depicting cold weather clothing? Sweaters, jackets? Are they lifted from rallys earlier in the year?
