Castle

Castle is shy at first but warms up quickly – especially with treats! Castle walks nicely on a leash, and he enjoys the company of other dogs. He loves walks but also loves sitting and spending quality time on the couch. If you’d like to meet Castle, please reach out to an adoption specialist today.

Snow White

This stunning little lady recently arrived at the sanctuary a bit scared, but is quickly coming out of her shell! Just tell Snow White how beautiful she is and she bats her gorgeous eyes and gives head bumps. Invite this princess into your home and she is sure to repay you with unconditional love and affection. Come meet her today!

Prince

This affectionate, handsome gelding is ready to retire from his previous life as a ranch horse and is ready to bask in all the attention he can get. He may be retired, but he’s still gregarious and loves to play with other horses despite some of his lameness challenges. And he loves people almost as much as he loves other horses. He truly is Prince Charming.

Queen Beesouthern utah adoptable pets Queen Bee

Queen Bee aka Queenie is a loving girl who just wants to be with her people. She enjoys walks and playing tug, but then is ready to settle down and snuggle on your lap. Some say she might be big for a lap, but she disagrees.

Queenie would prefer to be in a home where she is solo and truly the “Queen”. She’s very smart and enjoys clicker training and performing a job. She would be amazing for someone experienced with training and managing behaviors. She’s a gorgeous girl with a lot of love to give.

King Pin

King Pin is a sweet older gentleman who wants to eat and be loved. He loves coming in for hard head butts and getting his glorious cheeks scratched. This boy is looking for someone to pamper him like the king he is. Make arrangements to meet this royal loving king today, he is waiting for you.

Forestsouthern utah adoptable pets Forest

Forest is shy with people but has come out of his shell with people he knows. He likes to lounge in a comfortable place with his kitty friends and is happy to be nearby when people enter the room and is becoming enthusiastic about receiving pets. He is very motivated by treats and will come closer if they’re offered. Forest has several cat friends that he loves to snuggle with and he would be a great pair with Rain – although he does make friends with other laid-back cats easily and could be a new friend to your cat.

When one of Forest’s friends is being petted, Forest will sidle in next to them for a pet or two, and every day he is wanting more human contact. Forest is a sweet boy who’s just looking for a quiet home where he can have his own person and some kitty friends again.

We are open for walk-in visitors on Thursdays, from 4:30-6:30 p.m. For more information on RSQ and our adoptable animals, please contact RSQ at (800) 897-1136 or visit rsqutah.org.

Target

Meet Target, formally Georgia. This stunning girl is looking for a new family to love her forever. She was adopted out a few years ago and had a lovely life, but circumstances changed, and she is available once again. Scoop her up fast! This girl is SO GREAT! She loves to fetch, listens super well, does well on a leash, and gets along with others. Target would love an active family, especially one with a good throwing arm! She is house-trained and would be good in a home with other dogs or alone. Apply to meet Target today!

Daisy

Daisy has been returned to RSQ as her previous owner was unable to care for her anymore. She is a very smart dog and full of fun but will need an experienced and committed handler to provide a loving forever home for her. She will need a home where she can be the only dog (no cats either) and one without small children. Once she gains your trust, Daisy is a very affectionate and loving dog. She rides great in the car and is house-trained. Going on a hike or walk is her favorite activity. Her adoption will come with a high-valued, paid-for training program that will help her learn to build relationships and set her up for success in her new home. The adoption is conditioned on her new owner agreeing to be part of this training process. Inquire with RSQ for more information on this great girl!

RiverMan

Meet RiverMan. He ain’t nothing but a hound dog. A Plott Hound to be exact. He walks great on a leash and enjoys making friends! He is playful, and smart and would be good in a home with other dogs or alone. You can meet Riverman at our Thursday Open House from 4:30 to 6:30.

Penelope

Meet Penelope! She’s an alpha cat, confident, feisty, and playful, yet a snuggly love bunny when she’s ready. She would be good in a home with other cats or alone. She likes to make biscuits and purr. Maybe you can make biscuits together. Inquire with RSQ for more information on this great girl!

Heidi

Heidi is ready to find her furever loving home. She has an instantaneous purr when picked up. She loves to snuggle. She enjoys playing and exploring. Heidi is friendly, affectionate, curious, and loves kisses. And… she is house-trained and would be good in a home with other cats or alone. She would be a perfect fit for your loving, furever home.

Gumdrop

You can’t pass this Gumdrop. Goody, goody Gumdrop is a young calico who is happy to be out of the cold. Her life would be sweetened if she could be in a loving furever home. You won’t have to climb Gumdrop Mountain to find her. She is house-trained and would be good in a home with other cats or alone. All Gumdrop wants is to find that furever, loving home. Could it be yours?

Oreo

Anything for Love! With her affectionate nature and wiggling hips, it’s easy to see that Oreo adores people. A big, strong girl, she’d probably do just fine with older kids. She does well on a leash, walks with a loose lead, and waits for you if you stop without pulling. But she wants to please people so much that she should be a quick study. Oreo is ready to give her heart and soul to whoever adopts her. If you’re looking for a devoted dog, please consider giving Oreo the chance to be your best friend forever. Oreo is two years old.

Nike

Super-friendly, with lots of energy, and really bright – that’s Nike! She loves meeting new people because she’s hoping one of them will take her home. The thought of having a real family is almost too much for her to handle. She gets giddy with excitement, wiggling and hopping around. Never overwhelming, though, Nike has just the right amount of energy for the typical active family. She’d make a great hiking or jogging buddy. And smart? She already seems to understand sit and down. She shows a good, healthy interest in other dogs.

Tessa

Hi, I’m Tessa! My owner could not keep me. I am a sweet girl that enjoys being petted. I would love to go on walks and be with people but right now I can be a little shy. Once I get to know you I will be your best friend and sit with you, cuddle with you, and love you.

All I need is someone who will give me time with them and let me, in my own time, adjust and gain back my confidence. I am well-behaved and think you’ll enjoy being with me. I do well on a leash and I kennel easily. I also know the sit command. I am a very happy dog.

Brother

Brother is a 10-year-old handsome cat with great wisdom. He is a great listener, and loves to perch up on his cat tree and look out the window bathing in the sun. He does fine with other cats, would prefer no dogs and he doesn’t understand children so he will do best in a home without them. Brother has been at PAWS for 437 days. He would love to come home with you!

Bing and Chunk

Brothers Bing and Chunk were surrendered together and have rarely been apart since they were born 2 years ago and, although we would love for them to be adopted together, we think they’ll be fine separately.

Bing, named for his beautiful Bing Crosby eyes, is energetic, playful, and loves to chew (antlers and durable toys preferred). He also enjoys cuddling and giving kisses. Bing has some fear of riding in cars and freezes up and doesn’t want to get in. However, after just a few trips to the dog park with our fabulous volunteers, he’s already becoming more relaxed and has a great time once he gets there. Trips to other fun places should help him continue with his progress.

Chunk is a big softie who, as his name suggests, loves his food and very much looks forward to mealtime but he does fine eating with other dogs and has never shown any food aggression. He loves his snacks!

Both pups are good with other dogs, cats, and kids and will make a great addition to an active family. As puppies, Bing and Chunk may do better with older children who will make sure not to leave toys laying around. (Did we mention both do love to chew and will need supervision since they will swallow toys if allowed.) Both Bing and Chunk would benefit from some training as they can jump and be mouthy when excited and haven’t had much experience walking on a leash. They need a loving family with room to play and time to help socialize them.

Crimson and Clover

Born September 21st, these sweet puppy sisters are available as foster to adopt until spayed on January 17th at which time their adoption will be completed and either pup will be all yours. They display normal puppy behaviors so will need all of the normal training. As with all BAM dogs, their adoption fee includes vaccinations, spaying & a microchip!

Maui

At just a year and nine months, Sweet Maui is a wonderful boy who, unfortunately, was still too much puppy for his previous older doggie brothers.

Maui is neutered, housebroken, crate trained, microchipped, up to date on his vaccinations, and knows basic commands … WOW!. He loves playing with other dogs and kids but jumps when he gets excited so may do better with older children.

Flynn is a four-year-old McNab (or Decker Hunter) Terrier/Border Collie mix. He’s been with his last person since he was a puppy and has been well-loved but his owner could no longer provide him with the care and attention he needs and sadly brought him to us.

Flynn gets along well with other dogs and is well-socialized with people (including children) but hasn’t yet been tested with cats. He loves a good game of tug or a puzzle feeder to encourage his curiosity.

Flynn

Flynn is a picky eater and guards his food. For some reason, he is afraid of delivery trucks and some men. Unfortunately, this breed sheds more than most so his new adopter will need to be prepared.

A quick Google search on this breed shows they are affectionate, inquisitive, loving, alert, lively, active, intelligent, fearless, and playful dogs who tend to have separation anxiety when their owners leave them alone at home because they bond very closely with them.

Quincy

Although she isn’t doing the full husky howl yet, baby Quincy is already very talkative and she has plenty of important things to say.

Born May 31st, she’s almost … but not quite … house trained. She loves water and would be so happy with an adopter who doesn’t mind snuggling a wet girl! She has fun with dogs of all sizes and even gets along with cats!

Quincy’s going to make a great family dog but her puppy teeth are razor sharp and she likes to bite so she should be fully supervised around kids. She needs lots of chew toys until those big-girl teeth come in.
