Fine art photography aficionados will find unique images from featured southwest artists at “Artists with a Camera,” the spring 2018 photography exhibition held at the ARTé Gallery March 22–April 11. The event highlights members of the St. George Fine Art Photographers’ Guild who are internationally and nationally recognized artists and introduces emerging talent.
Hosts for the exhibition include The St. George Fine Art Photographers Guild and ARTé Gallery and Framing where the event will take place. The location is at Sunbrook Ranch, located at 415 S. Dixie Dr. in St. George, one block from the Sunbrook Golf Course. A public opening takes place March 23 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
“Guild members from St. George, Mesquite, Cedar City, and surrounding areas will exhibit their most recent pieces, most of them not seen anywhere else,” said Charles Lupica, founder of the St. George Fine Art Photographers Guild. “We consider ourselves artists with a camera roving the southwest for that special light, those dramatic clouds and spectacular natural formations that make up the beautiful environment in which we live. We promise attendees a real treat for the eyes.”
The St. George Fine Art Photographers Guild was founded in 2017 by St. George residents Charles and Deborah Lupica. The guild is dedicated to the art of photography, which is the art of seeing. Members get out and capture the light as often as possible. The guild offers free and paid workshops, photo walks, and photo-tours as well as classes in Lightroom and Photoshop.
Charles Lupica is an international award winning photographer, author, workshop leader, and photography instructor. Deborah Lupica is a photography author and workshop leader. Together, they teach online and community education classes in photography, Lightroom, and Photoshop. For more information, email emailstgfap@256shadesofgray.com.
