(Oct. 22, 2019) Aviation Boatswain’s Mate (Handling) 3rd Class Jared Pace, from St. George, Utah, assigned to USS Gerald R. Ford’s (CVN 78) crash and salvage division, participates in a general quarters training evolution aboard the ship. Ford conducted the general quarters and abandon ship training evolutions to better prepare the ship and crew in case of a real life casualty and in preparation for the crew getting underway.
