St. George native Jared Pace serves aboard USS Gerald R. Ford
NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (Oct. 22, 2019) Aviation Boatswain’s Mate (Handling) 3rd Class Jared Pace, from St. George, Utah, assigned to USS Gerald R. Ford’s (CVN 78) crash and salvage division, participates in a general quarters training evolution aboard the ship. Ford conducted the general quarters and abandon ship training evolutions to better prepare the ship and crew in case of a real life casualty and in preparation for the crew getting underway.
