The Annual ‘Soup N’ Bowl’ Fundraiser For The St. George Art Museum Is Set For March 4th

St. GEORGE— Serving as the St. George’s Art Museum’s lone fundraiser each year, the annual Soup N’ Bowl event provides an opportunity to support local artists while enjoying a delicious lunch with friends. Soup N’ Bowl is set for March 4 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the St. George Art Museum. Tickets for this event are available for purchase online or in person at the Art Museum.

For $20 per person, attendees will get to choose a bowl from a wide variety that has been created and donated by local potters. Their bowls will be filled with a delicious lunch of soup, accompanied with bread and dessert. Participants will also be able to purchase items created by local artists and can meet some of the potters who donated bowls.

“Soup N’ Bowl brings the community together and helps fund the types of exhibits we have grown to love here at the St. George Art Museum,” said Art Museum Manager Natalie Gula. “The added bonus for those who attend is you get to take home original work of art. Get there early to beat the rush and find your favorite bowl.”

Musical entertainment provided by Vista School Advanced Orchestra and Vista Vocal Xpressions will be played in the gardens adjacent to the Art Museum.

“While you attend the Soup N’ Bowl fundraiser, take the time to step inside the Art Museum and check out some of our latest exhibits,” Gula added. “Of particular interest is Honor, Courage, Commitment: Marine Corps Art, 1975-2018, which is on loan from the National Museum of the Marine Corps through the end of April.”
