The Stage Door is proud to announce its upcoming production of Wait Until Dark, a spellbinding thriller by Frederick Knott, directed by Trey Paterson. This classic drama will keep audiences on the edge of their seats with performances running February 13 through March 8, 2025, every Thursday through Sunday.
Set in a Greenwich Village apartment in the 1960s, Wait Until Dark tells the harrowing story of Susy Hendrix, a resourceful blind woman who becomes the unsuspecting target of three criminals searching for a mysterious doll. As tension builds and danger creeps closer, Susy must outsmart her dangerous opponents in a gripping battle of wits and survival.
The production features a talented cast led by Rebecca Wright as Susy Hendrix, whose bravery and ingenuity are at the heart of this suspenseful tale. Andrew Hansen takes on the role of Mike Talman, a conman wrestling with his conscience, while Coy Shinn Jr. portrays Roat, a menacing and calculating villain. Mark Speener brings depth to the nervous and unsure Carlino, and Eric Liebhardt plays Susy’s supportive husband, Sam Hendrix. Aria Williams rounds out the cast as Gloria, Susy’s fiercely loyal young neighbor.

Director Trey Paterson, known for his keen sense of drama and character, brings this intense and atmospheric story to life. This is a timeless thriller that showcases the strength of the human spirit in the face of danger. This cast is incredibly talented, and they’re bringing a powerful energy to the stage.
Performances will be held at The Electric Theater, located at 68 E. Tabernacle in St. George, Utah. Showtimes begin at 7:30 PM on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, with Saturday matinee at 2:00 PM.
