Washington County has completed a remodeling project of the County Building. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at the Washington County Building Dec. 19 at 3 p.m. The ceremony will take place at 87 N 200 E in the east upper parking lot.

The building currently houses the Washington County Justice Court, Assessor’s Office, Recorder’s Office, Court Support Services, and Washington County IT Services. This building will serve as the Justice Court for Washington County upon the future completion of a new administration building.

The remodel began June 17 and will be completed Dec. 18. Watts Construction, Inc., remodeled the building, and MRW Design was the project’s architect.
