Just because it isn’t peak season doesn’t mean Springdale is not a great destination spot in the off season. We are just getting ready to kick off our Zion Joy to the World Festivities and want to invite you to join us, because really, what could be better than holidays nestled in the canyon of Zion National Park?

Don’t miss the Springdale Mayor’s Christmas Reception tonight to start your holiday season off right. Come out and enjoy karaoke, a sing-along, and the Ugly Sweater Competition. The fun happens from 7-9 p.m. at the Bumbleberry Theatre, 897 Zion Park Blvd., Springdale.

The Rockville Christmas Party will be held Dec. 10 at 6 p.m. at the Rockville Community Center, 43 E. Main St., Rockville.

Then, you are not going to want to miss out on the Elf 3K Fun Run starting at 4pm at the Cliffrose Lodge on December 13th, followed up with the Fourth Annual Light Parade at 7pm. It’s a great way to get outside for some exercise with your family and even gives you an excuse to eat at one of Springdale’s delicious restaurants once you are done. Then you can join us for ice cream at the Canyon Community Center at the end of the parade to see who the winners of the parade are at 8 p.m.

Dec. 12 will be the Z-Arts Gala at Switchback Grille at 6 p.m., located at 1149 Zion Park Blvd., Springdale. You will not want to miss it!

Come on out and enjoy some fun holiday events in Springdale while the crowds are small, and the town has an intimate feel to it.
