Zion’s majestic canyon walls will be filled with more than just echoes this June—they’ll resonate with music, story, and reflection, as a new Artist-in-Residence brings a month-long program of contemplative offerings to the park.
On Thursday, June 5 at 7 PM, the artist will present “Lecture & Music at Zion: All of Life is Precious” at the Canyon Community Center in Springdale. This free public event blends live music with a meditative lecture centered on the theme of interconnection and reverence for life.
Inspired by the natural elements of Zion—two-legged, four-legged, winged, and rooted beings alike—the program is designed to encourage quiet listening, presence, and appreciation for the earth’s living systems. The artist will also offer informal performances and musical moments throughout the month of June in various public spaces and trails within Zion National Park.

Whether you’re a local resident, a park regular, or visiting for the first time, this event offers a unique opportunity to slow down and experience Zion through the lens of sound, ecology, and gratitude.
