Bryce Canyon Shuttle transitions to summer scheduleRed Canyon Transit transitioned to its summer schedule on the Bryce Canyon Shuttle May 19. The schedule change adjusted bus service to match the Bryce Canyon National Park visitor center’s hours, which are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. On that day, the free shuttle bus service into and within Bryce Canyon National Park adjusted to the following schedule:

—8 a.m.: Bus service begins from outside the park at the Bryce Canyon Shuttle Parking Station, running approximately every fifteen minutes.

—9 a.m.: Bus service shifts to operate approximately every ten minutes.

—5 p.m.: Bus service shifts back to operating approximately every fifteen minutes.

—7:15 p.m.: The last departure from the shuttle station heads into the park.

—7:30 p.m.: The last departure from the visitor center heads into the park.

—8 p.m.: The last departure from the visitor center heads out of the park.

The Rainbow Point Tour — a free, driver-guided tour to the southern end of the park — operates two times a day, departing the shuttle station at 9 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Reservations are required and must be made by calling (435) 834-5290 seven days in advance or less.

The summer schedule for the shuttle will continue until approximately Sept. 22, after which the shuttle will transition to an autumn schedule, running from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Autumn service will continue through Oct. 29.
