Dixie State University is giving away a full-tuition waiver, co-sponsored by Canyon Media, for the fall 2016 semester. Valued at $2,051.76, the cost of full-time tuition for a semester at DSU, the waiver is available to any Washington County resident who is enrolled in the fall.

“Dixie State University wouldn’t be the institution it is today without the support of our community. Connecting with the region’s residents and giving back is a top priority of the university,” DSU President Richard “Biff” Williams said. “DSU is the perfect place for Washington County residents to earn their degrees, and this scholarship will make it even easier for one lucky student to accomplish his or her educational goals.”

The contest can be entered by providing basic contact information at dixie.edu/givesback. On Aug. 15, one finalist will be randomly selected to win the grand prize and announced on Canyon Media radio stations. In addition, each week through Aug. 15, one participant will be randomly selected to receive a gift pack provided by the DSU Campus Store.

Registration for the fall 2016 semester is still open, and classes start Aug. 22. Prospective students can apply at explore.dixie.edu.
