Every year during Easter Weekend, Historic Town Square comes alive with dazzling pieces of artwork, the sounds of live music and the aromas of food from around the world. The St. George Art Festival returns April 3–4 at Town Square, promising to inspire and delight festivalgoers of all ages.

Nearly 200 artists from across the United States were accepted into this year’s festival. Awards will be presented in multiple categories on April 3. Visitors can look forward to viewing and purchasing paintings, ceramics, sculptures, textiles, glassworks, photography, fine jewelry and more, carefully curated from hundreds of submissions.

Live entertainment will take place on three stages throughout Town Square, including two free evening concerts. Headlining April 3 at 7 PM on Tabernacle Street is The Aquabats, known for their high-energy superhero punk rock performances. On April 4 at 6 PM, James Hardy & The Fire will bring their groove-driven roots rock sound to the stage.

Additional highlights include artwork from featured artist Prince Duncan-Williams, a creation station offering 15 hands-on crafts for children and families, nearly three dozen food trucks and vendors, and a freestyle dance battle on April 4 at 3 PM.

Runners can participate in the Art Attack 1 Mile and 5K races on April 4 at 9 AM on Tabernacle Street. The Desertscape Film Festival also returns April 1–4 at the Electric Theater, offering independent films and filmmaker showcases.

Festival hours are 10 AM to 7 PM on April 3 and 10 AM to 6 PM on April 4.

The St. George Art Festival began in 1980 and has grown into one of the region’s signature events, drawing more than 30,000 visitors annually to Historic Town Square on Main Street, between Tabernacle Street and 100 South.
