The 15th Annual Pumpkin Festival is scheduled to be held Saturday, Oct. 10, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Diamond Z Arena in Cedar City. The event draws thousands of area children and their families and provides a variety of activities for children all while contributing to a good cause: generating funds for Women in Business scholarships.
Each year, Women in Business awards scholarships to women pursuing degrees at an accredited university, college or trade school in Iron County. The goal for 2015 is $15,000.
Admission to the Cedar City Pumpkin Festival is $5 per child. Booth spaces and sponsorships are available through Cedar City Women in Business. Cedar City Women In Business’s mission statement is “to support the functions and activities of the Cedar City Area Chamber of Commerce. The Women in Business organization provides business and professional women in Iron County with a venue for networking, education, and community involvement.”
