Chrome, custom builds, and plenty of four-wheeled eye candy will return to Mt. Carmel Junction when the Carmel Mountain Car Show rolls into the Thunderbird Golf Course on September 25–26. Now in its 16th year, the family-friendly gathering welcomes classic and custom cars, trucks, motorcycles, and vintage RVs for two days of vehicles, music, food, and community fun.

Festivities begin Friday, September 25, with the Party on the Green from 4–7 PM. This laid-back opening-night celebration gives participants and spectators a chance to mingle on the golf course, get an early look at some of the weekend’s vehicles, and ease into the show before the main event on Saturday.

The full Car, Truck, Bike, and Vintage RV Show runs from 9 AM to 3 PM on Saturday, September 26. This year’s featured guests include automotive YouTube personalities Fab Rats, Merlin’s Old School Garage, NavajoTash, 89 Built, and Chad’s Fab. Music and master-of-ceremonies duties will be handled by J.C. Hackett, while pinstriping artist Jeff Dastrup will also appear.
Additional participants include Zion Helicopters, Cedar Mountain Fire & Rescue, and the 2026 main event sponsor, Hutch’s Auto Parts CarQuest of Kanab. Visitors can also expect food and beverages, vendors, music, raffles, contests, prizes, and the show’s famous Thunderbird Pie Eating Contest.
The Thunderbird has hosted the event since its beginning, providing an unusually scenic home amid the red-rock country surrounding Mt. Carmel Junction. What started as a local gathering has reached its 16th edition while continuing to bring vehicle owners, automotive personalities, businesses, and spectators together at the junction each fall.

Vehicle registration is now open for $10 per vehicle through the official show website. Vendor spaces are also available for $25 for a single 10-by-10-foot space or $35 for a double 10-by-20-foot space. Businesses may apply for a $100 show sponsorship.
Whether visitors arrive with a lovingly restored classic, a custom-built machine, or simply an appreciation for cool vehicles, the Carmel Mountain Car Show offers two full days of horsepower and hometown fun. Thunderbird Golf Course is located at 4530 State St. in Mt. Carmel Junction. Registration and complete information can be found at carmelmountaincarshow.com.
