Connect, Capture, and Conserve with Outsiders Photography!

Outsiders Photography is pleased to announce their annual photography conference, April 16-18, 2021 in beautiful Kanab, UT. The conference is geared towards landscape, wildlife, and nature photographers of all backgrounds and abilities. You will enjoy three jam-packed days of instruction from top-notch photographers and industry pros!
The keynote event will be held Friday evening with decorated photographer Art Wolfe. Over the course of his 40+ year career, Art has traveled extensively on every continent to capture his award-winning images. He is the author of over 100 books and has been featured on many documentaries and television series. His vision of bringing awareness to conservation through his art is the perfect complement to the mission of the Outsiders. The keynote event will be catered by Chef Shon of Sego Restaurant.
Many other top photographers will be speaking at the event, including the International Landscape Photographer of the Year Adam Gibbs! There will be 14 other prominent speakers at the event including Utah-based photographers Dustin LeFevre, Phil Monson, Ryan Smith, and David Swindler. The speakers will engage in a series of lectures, small-group breakout sessions, panel discussions, and photo editing classes. This event will take your photography education to the next level!
In addition to the speakers, there will be a whole host of industry sponsors at the event, including Sony, B&H Photo Video, Canon, Tamron, GoPro, Olympus, Fuji, and many more! You’ll get the latest on new gear and photo techniques! Even better, you’ll be eligible for over $15,000 in giveaways, including a Sony A7r3 with 24-70mm f/2.8 GM Lens.
The mission of the Outsiders is 3-fold:
- Connect with a diverse group of photographers, industry-leading pros, instructors, and resources all aimed at advancing our shared passion for photography.
- Capture stunning shots in the exquisite desert Southwest and learn how to elevate your craft to the next level. There will be many opportunities to shoot, both during and after the conference.
- Conserve the natural environment by raising awareness through our art. Help preserve the places we love to photograph with a strong focus on stewardship.
