Cedar City is getting ready to celebrate the local arts scene as the Final Friday Art Walks return for the summer season. This family-friendly event is free and open to the community, offering a wonderful way to explore visual art, live music, and artist demonstrations across several downtown locations.
Starting at 5 PM on June 26, visitors can stroll through galleries and venues to see the work of local artists. For those looking to participate, artists are welcome to set up their family-friendly display tables at the corner of 100 West University Blvd (Center Street) beginning at 4:30 PM with no vendor fee.

The evening will be filled with a variety of musical performances ranging from folk music by Coyote Bluegrass to the Southern Utah Handbell Choir and a brass quintet. You can catch live music at several spots, including The Green, Artisans, Stone Path, and the IG Winery.
This June event also marks a special tenth-anniversary celebration for the Beverley Taylor Sorenson Center for the Arts at the Southern Utah Museum of Art (SUMA) and the Utah Shakespeare Festival. With additional performances and activities, it is a night you will not want to miss. If you cannot make it this month, be sure to mark your calendars for the upcoming Art Walks on July 31, August 28, and September 25.
