“Footloose: The Musical” is set to take the stage at the O.C. Tanner Amphitheater in Zion Canyon, May 19th through June 3rd. Utah Tech Entertainment Alliance invites you to this thrilling production located just outside the entrance to Zion National Park.

Based on the hit 1984 movie of the same name, “Footloose” tells the story of Ren McCormack, a teenage boy from Chicago who moves to a small town where dancing has been outlawed. As Ren falls in love with the town reverend’s daughter, he challenges the ban on dancing and inspires the community to let loose and enjoy life.

The show features all of the classic hits from the original film, including “Footloose,” “Let’s Hear It for the Boy,” and “Holding Out for a Hero,” as well as several new songs written specifically for the musical adaptation. With high-energy dance numbers, catchy tunes, and a heartwarming story, “Footloose” will surely be a crowd-pleaser.

“We are thrilled to be bringing Footloose: The Musical to the O.C. Tanner Amphitheater,” shared Geoff Reynolds, Utah Tech Entertainment Alliance director. “This is a show that has something for everyone, and we know that audiences will love it. Zion’s setting is breathtaking, and we can’t wait to share this experience with theater-goers from all over.”
