Cedar Music Store and Studio has unveiled its newly expanded facility, offering local musicians more instruments, gear, and instructional opportunities than ever before. Owners Derrek and Leslie Adams, who originally took over the business in 2019, decided it was time to grow in order to better meet the needs of Southern Utah’s thriving creative community. Moving from their original corner store on the south end of town to a larger building was only the first step, and this latest expansion represents their continued dedication to the regional music scene.
The updated space boasts the largest inventory selection in Southern Utah. Customers can browse a massive floor display that showcases over ninety guitars, ten drumkits, and a varying selection of keyboards, brass, woodwind, and orchestral instruments. The expansion also introduces a brand-new humidified string section to safeguard delicate acoustic instruments. Beyond instruments, the store is fully stocked with accessories, sheet music, and professional stage and sound equipment.

In addition to retail growth, the expansion significantly boosts the store’s educational program. Cedar Music now employs nearly twenty professional instructors offering private lessons in guitar, voice, piano, drums, brass, and strings. The construction of brand-new, dedicated lesson rooms has allowed the studio to increase teacher availability, helping them comfortably house over one hundred active students.
Located at 70 East 200 North, Suite 3, the store is open Monday through Saturday. Community members are invited to stop by to explore the new layout, learn about upcoming events, or register for fall lessons.
