Higgins

Adorable, happy-go-lucky, and the most curious boy, Higgins is that friend who both makes you laugh constantly and is always down for a nap and a good cuddle. This handsome guy has a zest for life that is unmatchable. He makes friends everywhere he goes and can cheer up anyone in need of a smile.

While he is the biggest love bug, Higgins does not know his own strength, our behavior team is working hard on teaching him some leash manners and he is catching on really quickly. Higgins would love a home with no other pets, but he is full of charm so he is plenty a house needs.

If Higgins sounds like the dog for you, reach out to our adoption team today!

Gobi

Gobi is a sensitive guy and needs some time and patience to learn that the world isn’t such a scary place. He needs the right time and space from his person to give him the time to blossom into the dog his caregivers know he can be. Once Gobi bonds with someone he is all smiles, nubbin wags and cuddles.
Gobi loves going for walks and hikes, hanging out, and relaxing. He is nervous in the car but is learning it can be fun and the way toward new adventures. Gobi enjoys the company of other friendly dogs but does need to go to an adult-only home.
Gobi has a history of guarding people and spaces in a home, so needs to go home with an experienced adopter. If you can give this guy a chance, he won’t disappoint.

Rev

Rev is an active guy searching for love. He enjoys playing with toys and going for walks. He does take time getting to know new people but once he bonds it is very strong. All he wants is to be adored by his humans.

This large, handsome lovebug is ready and waiting for a forever home! Ask about Rev today!

Frizzle Sizzle

Frizzle Sizzle is a sweet little garden gnome in a land of giants. This tiny, cute girl won’t follow you at first, but once you reach out to her, she is all purrs and love.

What this adorable little cat (who still looks like a kitten) wants is a loving family of her own.

Jeeves

Jeeves is a handsome, shy guy! He would do best in a calm, relaxed, quiet home.

This cute boy is looking for a patient, loving adopter who will help him come out of his shell!

Canterbury

Curiosity should be this kitten’s name. She loves to explore and find new things to play with.

She does well with other kittens and would love to come home with you and be a part of your family.

Sister

Sassy Sister is one of the “Bear Cub” pups. She and her 10 siblings were found when they were only 4 weeks old. These gorgeous shepherd/cattle dog mixes are all healthy and fun as can be.

This sweet girl keeps her brothers in line! She is confident and doing very well with training and leash work.

Bowie

Meet our awesome friend, Bowie! This Tripod had his hind leg removed due to injury. He is all healed up and loving his new lease on life! He is friendly and eager to please.

This smart boy can’t wait to have his forever family to bond with. He is affectionate, loyal, gentle, playful and smart.

Bowie is house-trained and would be good in a home with other dogs, cats, children, or alone.

Randall

Regal Randall is a beautiful orange tabby, with lustrous locks of gorgeous orange. He is extremely friendly and gets along well with other cats.

He is an adult, looking for his forever home where he can enjoy plenty of pets and treats. Randall is gentle, playful, affectionate, loyal, and dignified.

Natalie

Say hello to our new arrival Natalie! She and her ‘sister’ were part of a Trap and Release program, but her property was deemed unsafe to return to. It’s a good thing for us because Natalie is absolutely full of love!

A little timid at first, she gains confidence quickly and is very sweet and outgoing. She is friendly, affectionate, gentle, and independent. Natalie is house-trained and would be good in a home with other cats or alone.

Come in and see if Natalie is the right choice for your family!

Hazlenut

Happy Hazlenut is a young tortie full of spice. She loves attention and thinks it should all be hers! She is playful, friendly, gentle, affectionate, and house-trained.

Mikey

Mikey was found as a stray. He is very friendly and loves attention. He has a lot of energy and loves to play. He seems to be ok with other dogs.

We think he is approximately 2–3 years old. He is not one to instigate any confrontation with other dogs, but we feel that he would be best in a home without other pets. He is a good boy and would benefit from an experienced dog owner.

Mikey is very independent and dignified. He has shown to be loyal and smart. He is going to make a very good dog for any home willing to give him a chance.

Rod

Rod was found as a stray wearing a collar. He is approximately 2 years old. He has been well cared for and well trained- except that no one came looking for him. He knows all basic commands and loves being with people and playing with toys.

He can be a bit excited when he first gets out of the cage and jump up but we are working on that. Maybe best to be in a home with no small children until he is more comfortable with not jumping up on you.

Leabelle

Leabelle came to the shelter with 3 other cats who had been left in an apartment for about 2 months with only someone coming to feed them. She is extremely shy and will need a calm quiet home.

She loves to be petted and brushed but is afraid of loud noises and quick movements. She is approximately 4 years old.

Amy

I was found as a stray trying to get into someone’s home. If you’re looking for a wise, independent cat, I am for you. I am low maintenance, low fuss = the perfect housemate. I’ve learned how to occupy myself easily over the years, so if you’re after some company without the ‘neediness’ – I am for you!

I am fascinated with the TV in the room and will sit and watch the activity on the screen and also like playing with the long tunnel toy. I will come when called and love attention.

I give head butts and purr constantly and love looking out the window. I will do best as an only cat where I can get all your love and attention.

Bessy

Bessy is a sweet 4-year-old cattle dog mix who was attacked by a larger dog. She was left with major wounds on her neck and face (which have healed). The owners of both dogs wanted to euthanize sweet Bessy, a non-aggressive very submissive sweetheart, but were convinced to surrender her to rescue.

Once PAWS had her in our care, we went to work on healing her wounds and her heart. She had emotionally shut down; she would not eat or move around her kennel. One of our volunteers took her into her home for fostering and started to help her to be a normal loved dog again!

She is spoiled with all the treats, playing ball in the backyard, going on walks, and just getting the best love and care since the attack. Bessy will be the perfect companion for anyone who wants a dog all to themselves to love and cuddle.

She does think she’s a lap dog! Come meet her at our office Tuesday-Saturday 11 am-3 pm.

Charlie

My name is Charlie! I am a 6-month-old Heeler/Shepherd mix who loves to play, give kisses, and cuddle! I’m learning commands and I’m very smart. I know how to use a doggy door and I love everyone.

Please come meet me at the PAWS Adoption Center so you can adopt me! I’ve had all my shots and am neutered. I’m ready for my family to adopt me!!

Sam

Meet Sam! He is a 1-year-old Heeler mix. He is the happiest shy doggy and you’ll have a hard time trying not to fall in love with him. He loves to run and wiggle that tail around as fast as the wind!

He is learning commands and manners and is so smart! He walks well on a leash and loves hiking and adventures. He will be a great family dog! Come in and meet this boy at the PAWS Adoption Center.

Heather

Heather is a 1 1/2-year-old gray Tabby with gorgeous fur. She is beautiful and so sweet. She is litterbox trained, microchipped, and spayed. Heather has a very calm personality. She is also playful and funny.

She is ready to go home with someone special. She will give you lots of love and companionship. Come to the PAWS Cat Room and meet her soon! She’s waiting to meet you

*All of our kitties are spayed/neutered, microchipped, have 1st vaccines, and come with a free vet checkup.*

Bailey Rae

Bailey Rae is the sweetest Maltipoo/mix puppy ever!

This little girl is just about 4 1/2 months old and weighs around 5 pounds. She is great with kids and other dogs. However, because she is a smaller dog, kids need to know how to handle her gently.

Bailey Rae is looking for her forever home that will help train her to be the very best dog she can be as she is still very much a playful pup. She is currently in a foster home.

Loki

This handsome charmer loves to be cuddled and petted. Loki is very playful, and at 4 years young he is still very kitten-like.

Loki loves cuddles and pets and would be best in a home with older kids who are kind and respectful. With proper introductions, Loki would be fine with other kitties.

Sweet Loki would make a fantastic feline companion for anyone who appreciates all the love and laughter kitties have to give!

S’mores

S’mores is a handsome kitty with lovely black fur and a silver undercoat. He will surely grow up to be a stunning adult kitty!

This fantastic feline is about 5 months old. He can be just a bit shy but he warms up quickly. S’mores is sweet, playful, and extremely cuddly! He would love to be adopted with his brother, Marshmello!

Marshmello

Marshmello is the brother of S’mores, and these two boys have similar personalities – sweet, playful, and extremely cuddly and snuggly!

This handsome kitty is about 5 months old. He has gorgeous black fur that is quite soft and silky. Marshmello would love to be adopted with his brother, S’mores. Imagine these two sweethearts in your home – double the love, 2x the purrs, and twice the amount of cuddles!

Oliver

Adorable Oliver is 3 months old and he is ready to find his fur-ever home!

This terrific tuxedo kitten is as cute as they come. His soft, black and white fur is silky to the touch. He loves to snuggle when napping.

When he’s awake, you’ll find Oliver playing and romping around! He’s full of silly antics and no doubt would love to have another kitten to play with, grow up together, and be bffs!

Bernie

Playboy Bernie is approximately two years old. He’s a great boy who is a bit of a clutz but who LOVES playing catch (and will play all day!). He’s very affectionate and great with adults and most likely children … we just haven’t seen him with any yet. He’s also super smart and learns commands quickly!

Bernie sometimes gets possessive of his people and toys when other dogs are around so it might be best if he were an only dog. He’s a total love, though, and is going to make someone a wonderful companion.

Bernie was pretty matted when he came to BAM. He may not require professional grooming but his adopter will need to keep him brushed to keep his beautiful coat tangle free. It’s easy, and he’s so happy when he’s being brushed.

Elvis

Five-year-old Elvis is a big galoof who loves everyone he meets (although he didn’t show much interest in cats). He’s a gentle giant who plays well with all sizes of dogs … even the little ones and puppies. He adores kids but can knock a little one over just giving a good sniff. He has an EXCELLENT sniffer!

Although he’s pretty quiet most of the time, the signature hound bay howl comes out when he plays. It’s adorable!

Elvis seems to have some training. He bolted on us once when we first got him but has been great since then. His new adopter just needs to be aware it can happen and they need to keep him safe, especially getting into and out of cars.

Misty

Who would believe this butterball loves to run and then cool off in a cold stream?

Wide as she is tall, chunky monkey Misty is a lot of loving lap dog! She’s also a super sweet girl who gets along with other dogs and probably kids although we haven’t seen her around any yet.

Misty is 8 years old, spayed, microchipped, and current on her vaccinations. She needs an adopter willing to monitor her food and exercise to get her down to a healthier weight.

Rooster

Thought to be around five years old, skinny little Rooster is such an affectionate boy and so much fun to be around. As you can see, he’s a real crowd-pleaser!

Rooster plays well with all dogs, adores kids, and loves to run! He’s housetrained, neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and is ready to go!

Ryder

Ryder is about approximately one year old and, as with some other rescues, he has some trust issues. He’s cautious around people at first but warms up and is very sweet and worth a little extra love and affection.

Ryder is just learning what dog treats are for (although he loves deli meat and cheese) and still hasn’t figured out what to do with toys. It didn’t take him long, however, to decide he adores ear rubs and pittie scratches and will snuggle up close to be loved on. He will be exceptionally loyal to whoever adopts him as long as they promise to shower him with all the love every dog deserves.

Ryder gets along well with other dogs but can get a bit possessive of his people so his dog buddies should be introduced properly. He might also take a little time to feel safe in a new yard so supervision is critical in the first weeks.

Ryder will need an adopter willing to give him the attention and love he’s been missing, and patience with him while he learns he’s in a safe and loving environment.

Willy

What a cutie pie! Born around mid-January, little Willy is friendly and playful with other dogs.

Willy is a herding dog so he’ll chase livestock and might be nippy because that’s what cattle dogs are bred to do. It doesn’t mean he’s aggressive but he will need to be trained to tell the difference between people and cows. He could be a great ranch dog with a job to make use of his natural talents. If not on a ranch, Willy will still need a job in a home environment and will be happiest with lots of exercise/hiking/running.

Willy is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccinations. Because of his nippiness, he would probably do better with older kids.
