Utah Libertarian Party nominates Daniel Holloway as candidate for Utah House District 74

The Utah Libertarian Party held its annual state convention April 14 and nominated Daniel Holloway of Ivins as the party’s nominee for Utah House District 74.

“I see the goodness in mankind,” Holloway said in his speech to state delegates in attendance. “I see the charity and love that people generally have for each other. I know that the natural tendencies of mankind are not bad, and it is safest to permit them to be free.”

Holloway is running against Republican incumbent V. Lowry Snow and points to Snow’s voting record as motivation to enter this race.

“Over the years that Mr. Snow has been elected to represent district 74, he has voted repeatedly to increase taxes,” Holloway said. “If elected, I promise to never vote for any bill that will increase taxes and will look for viable solutions to abolish as many taxes as possible.”

Election Day is November 6. More information about Holloway and his campaign is available at holloway4utah.com or by contacting him at (435) 817-3787.
