Cotton Days begins with Walk Washington County

April 30 at 7 a.m., Cotton Days will begin in Washington City with Walk Washington County at Veterans Park, located at 111 N 100 E in Washington.

“Walk Washington County is a great way for you to get some exercise, enjoy beautiful southern Utah, meet local mayors and learn area history,” said Heidi Lemke, the representative from Healthy Dixie who coordinates the walks. “We are excited to hear Mayor Kenny Neilson share interesting information about Washington with us while he leads the walk.”

Attendees should dress for walking and bring water and any gear needed.

“There is no charge to join in the fun, and we encourage everyone to come out for a great time,” said Lemke.

Walk Washington County began in 2013 as part of Dixie Regional Medical Center’s 100th Anniversary. More information is available by calling (435) 703-4746.
