Art Works Gallery features Ardith Fish graduation exhibition
“Jamon’s Sister” by Ardith Fish

Art Works Gallery will feature the work of 2017 SUU graduate Ardith Fish in his graduation exhibition. Fish will show work in several media including ceramics, mixed-media paintings, and alabaster carving. The opening reception will take place Aug. 25 from 5 to 8 p.m at the gallery during the third Final Friday Art Walk of the season. Fish’s exhibit shows through Sept. 16.

Fish received a bachelor’s degree in art at SUU. His goal for attending was to become an artist. His study included taking classes in ceramic and sculptural art as well as Chinese painting and modern abstract art. Fish said that thanks to his mentors, he has achieved his goal of being a trained “outside the normal art” artist.
