Conserve Southwest Utah open houseConserve Southwest Utah, Washington County’s grassroots conservation organization formerly known as Citizens for Dixie’s Future, will hold an open house in celebration of its 10th anniversary. The event will be held Saturday, June 25, from 12 to 3 p.m. at the Conserve Southwest Utah office, located in the Red Hills Professional Park at 321 N. Mall Drive, suite B202, in St. George.

Lynn Chamberlain, Red Cliffs Desert Reserve administrator, will give a short presentation at 12:30 p.m. Fred Davies, director of SunTran, will briefly discuss the St. George transit study at 2:30 p.m. Door prizes will be awarded, and refreshments will be served.

Conserve Southwest Utah’s focus over the past 10 years has been educating citizens on public lands, the Lake Powell Pipeline, air quality, and maintaining quality of life in southwest Utah.
