St. George’s growing comedy scene takes center stage on April 10 as Electric Comedy teams up with Los Angeles-based production company Concise Focus for a special one-night-only live filming at The Electric Theater.

The event begins at 7 PM, with doors opening at 6:30 PM, and will feature a lineup of local comedians performing in a professionally produced showcase set to be released on the Electric Comedy YouTube channel.

Designed as both a live performance and a filmed production, the evening aims to capture the energy of Southern Utah’s comedy community and share it with a broader audience. The collaboration brings together local talent and cinematic production, creating an experience that extends beyond the stage.

“Electric Comedy is about creating moments that make people laugh and feel alive,” said comedian and producer Val Douroux. “The room is more fun when packed with friends and family, on and off screen.” The production team added that they are excited to capture the energy of St. George and share it with a wider audience.

Attendees can expect a lively atmosphere, sharp stand-up, and a polished production designed for both a live audience and digital release. With limited seating and a one-night-only format, early ticket purchase is encouraged.

The Electric Theater is located in downtown St. George and serves as a hub for local performances, making it a fitting venue for a night dedicated to showcasing homegrown talent.

Tickets are available online, and guests are encouraged to secure their seats in advance for what promises to be an electric evening of comedy.
