This November, up-and-coming professional golfers will descend upon one of Nevada’s most prestigious golf destinations for the highly anticipated Nevada Open Golf Tournament. The longest-running professional golf tournament in Nevada will take place Nov. 6–8 and played on Mesquite Gaming’s award-winning courses, the CasaBlanca Golf Club and Palms Golf Club.

For more than four decades, the Nevada Open has provided professional golfers the opportunity to play in a unique desert setting as they look to build their resumes to enter the PGA Tour. Registration for the 54-hole event, which features a $140,000 prize purse, is now open for professionals and high-level amateurs.

“This year, hundreds of golfers will travel across the country from more than 20 states and Canada to face off in the always competitive Nevada Open golf tournament,” said Christian Adderson, tournament director for Mesquite Gaming. “Overseeding at both the CasaBlanca and Palms Golf Clubs has begun, and we’re excited to showcase these pristine courses in our upcoming fall tournaments.”

The entry fee for non-affiliated professionals is $725. The fee for PGA of America golf professionals is $500 while Southern Nevada PGA of America professionals are offered a rate of $450. Amateurs are welcome to compete for an entry fee of $350. The tournament committee will review all amateur applications and those who selected to compete in the tournament field will be contacted individually. All entry fees include accommodations for three nights at CasaBlanca Resort.

The Nevada Open is also free for spectators and gives golf fans a great opportunity to watch young up-and-coming professional golfers in a beautiful setting.

Directly after the Nevada Open, Mesquite Gaming will host the CasaBlanca Two-Man Golf Tournament Nov. 9–11. This three-day tournament lets amateur golfers enjoy three different courses around Mesquite: The Palms Golf Club, Conestoga Golf Club, and CasaBlanca Golf Club.

Registration for the 2018 Nevada Open and the CasaBlanca Two-Man Golf Tournament is now open, and interested professionals and amateurs may visit casablancaresort.com for information and reservations. For more information on Mesquite Gaming, visit mesquitegaming.com.
