Snickers
Snickers is every bit as sweet as her name. This beautiful 3-year-old Tabby, weighing approximately 9 pounds, has been with PAWS for almost two years, and she is so deserving of a loving home of her own. She has waited far too long for someone to see just how special she truly is.
Snickers is a well-mannered girl who always uses her litter box and keeps her space tidy. She came to us from Enoch and has been patiently hoping for the day her forever family walks through the door.
With her lovely coat, striking Tabby markings, and darling personality, Snickers is a joy to be around. She is affectionate, loves attention, and gets along wonderfully with other cats. Her easygoing nature makes her a great fit for households of any age.

Aurora
Nine-year-old Aurora is a petite, sweet, energetic 40 lb girl who plays well with other dogs, even puppies, and loves giving her people LOTS of licks and kisses! She enjoys older, respectful kids but, unfortunately, toddlers make her very nervous and defensive. She’s ok with kids over five but not younger. It’s important that she gets placed in a home without young children. She’s also not a fan of cats.
Aurora has been spayed and is current on her vaccinations. She is trained to know several commands. She walks well on a leash and rides well in a car. She is housebroken and knows how to use a doggie door. She is friendly, playful, obedient, protective, and beautiful.
Duke
A very sweet woman raised Duke since he was just a puppy, and while she gave him lots of love, she couldn’t give him the training and socialization he needed when he was young. He didn’t get exposed to many things, which left him unsure about new situations. Now, at a year old, Duke is learning:manners, how to walk on a leash and ride in a car, and, with slow, thoughtful introduction, as he can still get overwhelmed, how to play with people and other dogs. He’s a high-energy boy who likes treats, toys, playing, cuddling, and being petted absolutely everywhere.
Duke is becoming a sweet and confident dog. He’s catching on FAST and is looking for a patient adopter to help continue his training. He has already been neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, so he’s ready to meet his new best friend.
Gunner
Just like in the bayou, a good gumbo gets better with time, and that is just like our sweet senior boy, Gunner. This 12-year-old Louisiana Catahoula Leopard Dog has the classic speckled coat the breed is known for and a pair of ghost blue eyes that light right up when you grab a toy.
Gunner is a gentle old soul who enjoys friendly dogs and absolutely soaks up all the love and attention he gets from the staff and volunteers. These days, he is looking for a calm, comfortable home where he can go out for a leisurely stroll, then rest his paws, enjoy some companionship, and take life at an easy pace.
Because Gunner is a senior gentleman, he would do best in a home without cats or small children. Older visiting kids are just fine as long as they understand that sometimes an old bayou dog just needs a little peace and quiet.
Dusty
One-year-old Dusty has the cutest overbite, which makes him look like he’s always smiling … or maybe he’s smiling because he’s always happy. He also has somewhat of a cropped tail, adding to his 40 pounds of charm. He’s a friendly boy who enjoys being with people and other dogs.
Make arrangements to meet Dusty today!
Rio
Born in October of 2025, Rio is a friendly, playful, outgoing boy who would make a great companion for someone who enjoys an active outdoor lifestyle. Rio has plenty of energy and loves to stay busy!
Rio would do best in a home with older children as he may get excited and accidentally knock over younger kids. He would also do better with dogs that are not seniors since he enjoys playing and can keep going for hours.
Rio is a sweet dog with no aggression. He would benefit from learning basic commands and having an adopter who is willing to spend time on training and guidance.
Rio has already been neutered but he is still only available LOCALLY ONLY as foster to adopt meaning we can only accept applications from someone in the Hurricane area (Washington County). Once he receives his final vaccinations on May 1, his adoption can be finalized and this little ball of energy will be all yours.
Jodi
With her cute underbite, four-year-old Jodi might just be one of the most adorable girls ever! Jodi came to us with a difficult history but thanks to the love and patience of the BAM team and an extensive training program with Serenity Now K9, she has blossomed into a staff favorite. To support her transition, we’ll provide complementary training with Serenity Now K9 prior to her adoption.
Jodi’s searching for someone to be her person. She needs a dedicated adopter experienced with rescue dog rehabilitation who can provide the love, consistency and continued training she needs to thrive. Once she’s comfortable and builds a bond with her adopter, she’s trusting, wiggly and full of joy. She deserves a real forever home.
Jodi requires slow, managed introductions with new people and will do best in a calm, structured environment where she can settle into a routine without frequent interruptions from visitors. She loves going for hikes, riding in the car, getting belly rubs, doing zoomies, stretching out in the sun, and playing in her kiddie pool. Like any other dog, she just wants to be loved.
Jodi is available LOCALLY ONLY as foster to adopt. That means we are only accepting applications from the Hurricane area (Washington County). Once she has transitioned, her adoption will become final.
